He is the only guy who gets 20 rebounds and is a liability to his team. I saw the first half of the bulls/ knick and he stunk. That is why it is easy to fall in love with stats. Sometimes you dont realize how good kevin garnett is because his production doesnt show up in the boxscore
i wouldn't say he is a liablility, well yes i would. he is pretty bad offensively but every team needs a guy like him, he just want to win.
Being 7 foot and somewhat athletic helps to.
every teams needs a guy like him. he is only going to get better. he is improving a ton each year. i like it
yes, you need energy guys on your team, but that is what the 2nd round is supposed to be for. Not a lottery pick franchise centre. And right now they are getting goose eggs from brad miller, so if rose isnt hot they have no chance
I think 20 rebounds means you are no longer a liability to your team. If you pull in 20 rebounds, that is what you are on the floor to do...
Liability should never follow 20 rebounds in a sentence about basketball.
You ask Tyson Chandler not Joakim Noah....
Brad Miller and John Salmons are a liability for them. I like Noah, and hope the next time he plays Lebron that Noah puts him on his tail.
Has anyone heard of Dennis Rodman? Was he a Liability for the Bulls when all he did was grab boards? Who doesn't want a guy on their team that can grab 20 boards, I know I wouldn't mind. Noah is in the game to grab boards and get put backs and all the garbage stuff that needs to be done that the superstars don't do. Noah is doing his role, it's the other players around him that's not helping the team. Going pro, everyone knew that is the type of player he was and will be, so if they drafted him for something elese it's their fault. But everyone knew he was a Rodman type player.
Noah is far from a liability, pulling down 21 rebounds last night, 17 of them being offensive eliminated the possibility of his oppenents getting put backs or another possession 17 TIMES! and his 4 offensive boards gave his team 4 more possessions. I think he fine as an NBA center, he is pulling down 12.2 rebounds on the year and blocking almost 2 shots per game. He would just be much more effective if the Bulls had a legit offensive threat at power forward. If he were lined up next to a Chris Bosh or Carlos Boozer then everyone would sing his praises, but since he is lined up next to Taj Gibson I think a lot of people expect too much of him offensively. In my opinion he has a great deal of potential to become a top notch defensive center ala Ben Wallace or Mutumbo.
