Shaun Livingston

He just got released/cut from the thunder. I feel so bad for this guy. He looked like he was really going to be a top point guard there for awhile. He had the potential to really be something special being a 6'7 PG. I was really hopeful that he could make it with the thunder and was pretty excited that they signed him last year. I never want to see any player get injured but thats just part of the game. I am sure he has enough money to be comfortable for the rest of his life but its just a very sad situation for him.

Yeah. He's so Youjng and I

Yeah. He's so Youjng and I think he can still be a pretty good Starting PG. Don't think anyone is convinced yet, maybe he should go back to the D-League and Dominate, then try to prove to others he's good enough. It's amazing to see all this is happening because of an Injury. He's been with...Heat, Clips, and Thunder now.

He's lost that

He's lost that explosiveness...I really was convinced he could be a special PG in the NBA, and he was breaking out that season, but that injury is just too much for him. He isn't as comfortable or as explosive as he used to be...

Yeah, no question he'll get

Yeah, no question he'll get another shot. People have said nothing, but good things about this kid & he still has great length. If he works on his shot more then maybe he'll become more of a Spot Up Shooter or take you off the dribble. Reinvent his game from Slashing and Attacking the Basket.

Kincks?? Give him a try??

Kincks?? Give him a try?? Probably not?? It just seems like every time someone gets cut, the Knicks is where they should go.

Why not? If Jonathan Bender

Why not? If Jonathan Bender was given a Shot, not to mention he's doing pretty well, well judging from the Box Scores,

yea

Yeah,i think its a stupid move by Presti. Livingston is a great point guard, ive watched him many times on tv and a few at Thunder games and he never seemed to have any problems with his knee. if he did he didnt show it. they should have just got rid of wilks. its sad i think presti will regret it later on.

Thunder09 they actually did

Thunder09 they actually did get rid of wilks as well. I think they should have gotten rid of ollie so that it could be the dynamic 3 point guards of RW, Maynor and Livingston. I am sure that Shaun will find another place in the league that he can actually get decent playing time with. He is a great player, and very unselfish. Great point guard skills for being 6'7", but I think he just didn't contribute offensively to what Presti thought he would be.

I can't figure this out

Why is Kevin Ollie even in the Thunder roster? I can beat that old fart one on one... I think Shaun has got better skills than Kevin Ollie... He's old now and should be out of the NBA... He has had a long NBA career but I think he deserves to be cut more than Livingston...

Ollie is on their roster to

Ollie is on their roster to serve as a mentor to Westbrook. That's thewhole reason he's been in the NBA so long, to serve as a mentor to young PG's. Similar to what Lindsey Hunter has done... I do agree that's he's one of the worst players in the NBA though lol

agreed

id rather them hae kept Livingston, and got rid of ollie,i understand they need "veteran advice" in the locker room but think the people like krystic and collison got enough experiece to give that

They don't play his position

They don't play his position though, he's a veteran leader for the PG position..Collison is a good locker room guy, but he doesn't play the PG position at all. He'd be good for mentoring a PF possibly, And Krstic isn't a locker room leader at all, he's not even fluid enough speaking English to be a leader...Just because you have experience playing in the NBA doesn't make you a leader
