Tyreke Evans should be voted to the all star team

i definitely will admit i was wrong about TE13..i thought he wouldnt be as good rite off bat. i believe the coaches should vote him in if the kings are at least at .500. before all star weekend. i also think he deserves ROY since he is only 1 of 4 guys averaging 20 5 and 5 in the nba rite now. i think that they will do the co-rookie of the year tho this year cuz of jennings play and the 55 pt game. either way this guy will be a perennial all star 4 years to come

i like tyreke, he is the

i like tyreke, he is the best rookie right now and should make many all-star games. But this year is probably too early. He would have to beat out lots of perimiter guys in the west like:

KObe, Nash, Paul, DWill, ROy, Durant, Melo, Billups,Parker, Gay,

I could see him maybe beating Gay, parker and maybe even Billups. But that still leaves 7 guys ahead of him on the perimiter

He won't make the all-star

He won't make the all-star team this year, but he'll definitely have a few in his career. LeBron didn't even make the all-star team his rookie year. Also, if he can average 20, 5 and 5 for the rest of the season, then he'll join Jordan, The Big O and LeBron as the only players in NBA history to average 20, 5 and 5 for their rookie season.

reke has been great this

reke has been great this year and is starting to get national atention because of the game winning layup. If he brings the kings to .500 then yes he should be an allstar but that probably isn't going to happen, west has to many good guards

Can we please finally get Deron Williams into an allstar game?

The NBA sure backed tyreke

The NBA sure backed tyreke quicker than they would Jennings. He's alright, but let's be real nba defense sucks. Any rookie that plays can score whatever they want. I'm not convinced by this rookie class or the NBA. Blake Griffen isn't even back yet, who knows what he'll do. Jennings can't buy a bucket overseas and here he drops 55 within a week. Though that was crazy...Tyreke is a better than average player but should he be dominant? Should Chris Paul have been the MVP runner up two years ago? No...the NBA has gone soft

P.S. How is the best pg in the NBA a pudgy 24 yr old named Derron Williams? The NBA needs to find a new way, I ain't buying it

Get real! While nba defense does lack, it is not as bad as you're making it out to be. Also, Jennings couldn't get playing time overseas, not a bucket. Also, Chris Paul does the most with the least and the MVP by definition is the value player offers to the team, so no the NBA has not gone soft.

sup, many nba players who go

sup, many nba players who go over seas struggle to put up big numbers because of the style. The nba is wider open with more isolation and it results in good one on one players putting up nuimbers. But if you think the talent or comp is tougher in europe you are silly. How many euro players come over and are shut down defenders if you think the nba defense sucks?

There are alot of Guards deserving of the all star game

Starters- Nash/Kobe
Backups-CP3/Williams
Reserves/call ups if an injury happens- Ellis,Evans,Parker,Roy,Billups

Play wise Ellis and Evans have been tearing it up, but the others win much more... hard to say

but i feel you SUP that the

but i feel you SUP that the nba is all politics...as soon as he dropped 55 everybody hopped on his sack. the bucks have been televised twice nationwide on espn after that...the last time i remember seeing the bucks televised nationwide ray allen and glenn robinson were playing 4 them. but i still think jennings and evans are the rookie of the years even if blake comes back

Not gonna make the all star team

Tyreke is not going to make the all star team not because of his numbers but because he is a rookie and stern wants his rookies to play in the rookie game the only way a rookie can make the all star game is to get voted in remember even lebron didnt make the all star team his rookie year and he came in the league with a lot of hype and he averaged 20 5, 5 his rookie year. I like evans he is good but I dont think he is gonna be in the big game not this year anyway and he plays in the west with lots of superstar guards.

Will not make it

I don't think 'reke will make the All-Star team but he should definitely be included in the conversation... What he's doing for a dying franchise like the Kings is unheard of... He has done a spectacular job helping Sacramento get back on the map...

yeah if the efense was that

yeah if the efense was that bad then there would be more rookies scoring alot. the fact is the nba defense is great BUT it doesnt look that good because they offense is great and like they say great offense beats great defense anyday of the week. its like you match of a great offensive guy like kobe aganst dwade..no matter if he or dwade plays there best defense both are gonna get points. so it just seems like the defense is bad. there is no player on earth(jordan in his prime included) that is gonna stop a great offensive player everytime..just wont happen. and dwill a pudgy guard??..umm try a big solid guard with game that gives players fits

He won't make it, but I

He won't make it, but I think he deserves to. He's playing at an All-Star level, which is surprising to me. I thought he'd lead all rookies in scoring, but the Kings would still suck. He's had a huge impact on games....the 35 pt comeback last night shows just how valuable he is and the level he's playing at. Which is very scary for a rookie....He won't be an All-Star this season, but he sure deserves it IMO

It's not that easy...you

It's not that easy...you make it seem like scoring is easy. I mean, if your a good scorer than your going to have some games where you score a good amount of points right? Otherwise you wouldn't be considered a good scorer..

Evans has done more than I

Evans has done more than I thought he would this early and should be in the discusions especially for what he is doing in the West. They West has like 4 team that would make the playoffs if they were in the East not in the playoffs. Sac is like 2 or 3 games out. Maybe Kings may two good choices in Evans and Paul Westphal.

I mean he deserves hands

I mean he deserves hands down and sacramento has a bright future and i think he is the number 1 option there even when kevin martis is healthy but he plays in the west where guards are the best position and there to many he will have to beat out but if he play on the east coast i think he will be in but he still can get voted in as an reserve.
