trade to help portland
how about this trade i thought of for portland and detroit
Portland gives: steve blake and 2nd round pick
Detroit gives: kwame brown maybe chucky atkins
portland gets some height and a decent backup center to pryzbilla and possibly chucky atkins to add more veteran experience-plus this gives bayless more minutes for how well he has been playing, Detroit gets the point guard they need in steve blake that can run the offense and shoot the 3 more effectively than stuckey and bynum move stuckey to the 2 trade rip hamilton get a good big man or a expiring contract like kirilenko and pick
sounds good in theory but if it happened it would be one of many moves for detroit. their backcourt is crowded as it is now and i think they want stuckey as their PG of the future even if he might be better utilized as a 2.
portland needs to move steve blake or andremiller. one of them really has to go but maybe they could grab caron butler from the wizards.
now that i would love
i like it and this would lead to rip being traded
You're forgetting about Ben Gordan, so moving stuckey to the 2 isn't going to happen. Also detroit has a terrible front court, they won't deal kwame for a pg.
theres no way they get butler unless they give up something big.. probably outlaw and another player or pick
detroit hardly plays kwame now plus they still have wilcox they can get rid of one of them ben gordan come of the bench anyways so whats the difference between starting hamilton or stuckey at the 2 gordon is still coming of the bench plus stuckey can play a bit of small forward
think the difference is that you can slide hamilton to the 3 in some situations since ben gordan plays alot of min even though he comes off the bench.. you cant do that at any time with stucky
why cant stuckey play the 3 he is stronger than most 2 guards and 6'5
At the 3? Maybe situationaly but not on a regular basis.
yeah hes sg strong but not small foward strong..and even being strong its alot easier shooting to shoot over a 6'4.5 guy then a 6'7 guy... i dont think he can even play sf in spot min on defense
im all down for gettin rid of kwame brown... but our backcourt is really deep and will bynum is WAY better than steve blake.... why on earth would they put steve blake in front of stuckey or ben gordon OR will bynum for that matter...
rip and tayshawn both need to be moved... badly
by the way dude... no chance stuckey could play the 3' if hes 6'5 then that means he would be covering the likes of lebron, melo, gerald wallace, shane battier, durant, thaddeus young, paul pierce, rashard lewis, ariza.... and stuckey could not gaurd a single one of them... they would ALL post up and score at will...
for one will bynum needs to go we dont need two point guards that drive to the basket all day, 2 stuckey played defense against lebron and did fine plus when i said play stuckey at the 3 i meant for a few minutes not to start and tayshaun is not going to be traded unless we are getting a lottery pick or a good post scorer or defender rip needs to be traded and bynum and if bringing in steve blake if it is such a bad idea then why was detroit winning with chucky playing point and he is very similar to blake while bynum was out
