Yes 14 out of 20
What you fail to realize is out of the 6 that are worse.... 3 of them shoot 3s and long jump shot consistently and don't really spend a lot of time in the paint (Okur, Bargniani, Frye) which significantly lowers shooting percentages, one is a complete mess on offense and shoots sideways on shots (Noah), Al Jefferson has been playing hurt all year and struggling and is actually shooting over 50% for his career. So that leaves Hawes who I don't think much of.

In 2 pt % he is 16th out of 20 with a several bad shooters under him that know it and shoot 1/4 of the time that he does. Lopez has attempted 2nd most shots out of ALL centers and you are trying to tell me his numbers are not inflated as a Net? REALLY?!

To put in comparison he

To put in comparison he shoots exactly 9% less than david lee and averages 1.3 ppg more ... something to think about

good center... lets not get carried away tho

The double argument doesn't work either. Point is if he was on a good team where he had stars next to him, he may very well shoot 55% like most centers in the NBA, but he would be doing so with half as many attempts and offensive put backs he gets from his miserable team missing so much.

Brook on a good team 14 ppg and 7-8 boards, shooting 55%

Lopez Vs Bynum

I would say right now Lopez by a little but I think part of it is amount of the offense that is run through him, while now that Gasol is back, Bynum is now 3rd or 4th option unlike Lopez who is 1st or 2nd option. Tha said right now i take Lopez because he doesnt seem get in as much foul trouble and sometimes he looks as if lost sometimes. Not nearly as much as 2 years ago.

This arguement would be way more fun if Ming could stay healthy.
Also after these guys whos next on the list?
Some options:
Chris Kaman
Nene
Biedrins
Who else?
Not incuding people like Gasol Duncan Jefferson, or Amare who i feel either not centers or play most their miniutes elsewhere.
