Stephen Curry Could Turn Into a Poor Man's Nash
Did anybody see this cat light it up against the Wizards Friday? Whoa! Where has that been all season? And has anyone noticed his handle is getting better? He is even smoother now with his mechanics than in college. I believe he had 20 something points two or three games ago too. I think the jitters and bugs are leaving him and he is starting to play ball. He reminded me of how Steve Nash sometimes controls the game from just the perimeter without wowing you with athletic displays, shooting dagger threes all game long. Curry doesn't have the court vision of Nash of course, but his PG skills should get a lot better once he trusts his own ability to run a team.
I agree but I dont know maybe Steve Nash would be a huge jump but I have seen it in him and he can do it but I told people early that he was still adjusting to the game. Jennings is adjusting so well because he played overseas and had to learn things similiar to the NBA game and also Evans played a NBA type system at Memphis last year so his adjustment time was quicker. Curry is playing in whole different system than he did in college plus GSW is in disarray.
hes not like steve nash whatsoever... hes a below average defender and a below average passer... hes an excellent offensive player tho and that all hes got going for him... he wil NEVER have the court vision nash has.
people forget that Nash was not so highly thought of when he got drafted. Saying a player will never have something a Player has now that at the same point Nash was seen as a smart player but slow to make a decision. Curry has pretty good court vision and he can work to improve it. everything else in nash's game, Curry can add to his just like Kobe has added a lot of Jordan stuff to his game and then has added more stuff.
i don't think curry's game is llke nash's. curry is shoot first while nash gets critized for not shooting enough.
He can turn into a poor mans nash. Dont let one game fool you he has not been scoring or shooting like that all year. He has great court vision and is a great passer. Just watch him for more then one game and you will no what I mean. He's our best passer easily and I could see him averaging 8 assists a game eventually. He wont be a 20 ppg guy buy more like a 15ppg 8ast
