If the Clippers want to win games they need/have to give Eric Gordon more than 8 shot attempts in a game. They went down to the Knicks with Baron having 17 attempts days after saying how Gordon is the main offensive weapon for the team for only 5 more points than Gordon, something needs to be done.
Gordon is the gunner and should be. B diddy should never take more shots than him unless he is on fire. Offense should run around Kaman and Gordon in terms of shots.
BD took 17 shots... TEN of them from 3-point. First problem... What's he doing attempting TEN 3-pointers? Somebody should whisper to him that he only shoots 29% from that far. Second... EJ shoots almost 50% from the field and 39% from 3-point. Get him the damn ball.
If BD just focused on distributing the ball and making plays, the Clippers would be a lot better. He's a much better player when he does that... Offensively he should stick to layups, post ups and getting to the free-throw line. He should NEVER attempt TEN 3-pointers in a game. EVER.
I was gunna say fire Dunleavy but Gordan shooting more is a good 2nd option
believe we blew a 18 point half time lead
If clippers want to win:
Baron needs to pass more like tezo said. He is no longer a guy you want trying to takeover games. Gordon is a key and should get looks, but he is not yet the guy to carry a team so I don't think the clipps should focus their whole offense aorund him. Kaman still should be the number 1 option in my book. They should see what offers are out there for Camby. No way he stays and they might as well see if they can't get something young for him that will be around. They need to find a sf. Even though Thornton is playing better, he is not a good starting option for the long haul. SF is probably their biggest need. I still have no doubt Griffin will be a very good player if not an nba all-star, so he will be a huge piece of the puzzle.
Completely agree and although Gordon isn't that guy yet he would still be better than anyone else on the team, not to mention he will be that guy and why not just get him use to it.
