Good Call Or Kobe Gets Away?
An extremely contaversial call that Kobe might have gotten away with, Bucks end up losing this one by 1 point
Kobe did hit the game winning shot, but it could of been a very different ending if this shot went the right way
Looked like a charge they could've let the play go and not call a foul either way.
there are many calls during a game that could go either way. its not like this was the only one
But this was definetly mote obvious than others, and I personally dont see this as one that "can go either way", just one that went the wrong way
is this really a suprise to you?..ive seen many many times where jordan got away woth a foul or magic got away with a foul or shaq or bird. none of this suprises me anymore with the star treatment or star calls. the only thing you can do about it is be a bigger star then the other guy
I don't want to here it.....This call was horrible.....Not only was it an obvious charge, I mean lets get serious here. You count the basket too??? The foul(offensive) was called on the SPIN MOVE and, after that he takes another step after the spin then shoots.....AND IT COUNTS?????????
like i said are you really suprised?..no matter how horrible the call is does it really suprises you?..is this the first time you have seen something like this happen?
maybe im desensitized from seeing this happen so much like seeing someone take 3 steps and not get a travel called. i see stuff like this say " damn that wasnt a good call" then i just say oh well. there was another play where gasol was clerly fouled but the ref didnt call it. was just as obvious also..ill put that p there so ya'll can see once i find it
Kobe moved his right pivot foot. He traveled.
A. he was backing up and Kobe was driving to the side, not at him, they made the right call.
B. he may have traveled but as a Lebron fan i can tell you, they won't call a travel in crunch time.
No, no, no he took it straight in the middle of the chest...
I think the call could have gone either way because Bogut also acted by flopping and isnt that suppose to be a fine?
As said above who gets those calls at crunch time? The people who attack the basket often get rewarded when they are aggressive.
I'll say this, I thought it was a lucky call for the lakers that should have probably gone the other way. That happens sometimes when you are a superstar forcing your way to the paint. That's not an excuse, the refs missed it and it was a huge play in the game. With that said, I beleive there was still like a minute to go after that paly and MIlwaukee still had the lead. Bogut missed a last second ft that would have won it in regulation. Then in ot, the bucks had a 6 poiny lead with 1:20 remaining and then Bryant scored 7 straight to win it by one with MIlwaukee missing multiple shots down the stretch. You can't really blame that loss on the refs if your milwaukee.
It was an obvious travel and a charge
I don't care if Bogut flopped. Big guys usually have to hit the ground if a little guy runs into them or they don't get the call. A lot of big guys that don't take the fall usually get a defensive foul called on them if they don't fall because the guard bounces off of them so hard. I think in the last issue of Slam, Shane Battier was explaining how to take a charge...it involves getting in position, beating a man to the spot, taking the hit to the chest and falling. How many times have you seen a charge called when the defensive man completely holds his ground?
just another awful call these "professional" refs make....and in the favor of a superstar. sickening.
The ref looked confused during the call he didnt know what to call then i think he relized who it was and called it a foul thats what i think and the bucks still had a chance to win the game they let him take the last shot and he hit it and like someone said before they were up 6 with 1:20 left in the game and couldnt close it out. I dont like the lakers or kobe but the bucks blew the game. If they just handled their businees then it wouldve never came down to that.
yeah chichago1980, I said the exact same thing above. Bad call and hurt the bucks. But there was so many other things involved in the bucks losing that game they shouldn't just look at that one play which occured with like a minute left and the bucks still had the lead after that play.
