I really think Kobe is going to win 2 more rings and be in the conversation with Michael Jordan...
It truly is Kobe's league...everyone else is just playing in it...trying to get to the Finals so they can be beat by Kobe and his Lakers...So sad but true
Domination, not much else to really be said
---Great song too by Clint Mansell and the Kronos Quartet from the movie "Requiem for a Dream"
Watching that reminds me of why I always say, 'I can't believe he hit that' whenever I watch him play, which is soon followed by, 'I can't believe he took that'...Am I the only who thinks if he actually let Gasol, Odom, ect take shots in the 4th they would be a 70 win team?
Def. looks like Celts and Lakers in the Finals.
Warriors trying to guard him is a joke and Mike MIller thats just not fair to him.
he makes more clutch shots in the fourth then he misses and they won a title with him doing that so i wouldnt change it. plus odom nuts up at the line all the time so i dont want him with the ball taking shots alot in the fourth and sometimes gasol cant play through contact so i think ill go with more of the sure thing in the fourth. in the end its about that title reguardless if the 70 wins or not
I don't usually let a mix change my mind about a player, but that was just....... epic. Maybe it was the music. Anyways, Kobe is the best scorer in the game. It takes tremendous core strength, agility and skill to take most of those tough shots, much less make them. I can't even get mad at NBATV for showing the Lakers damn near every Tuesday. Maybe I'll watch them more often.
I'm thinking Kobe gets MVP #2 this season.
probably the best mid range game ever combined with very good quickness, great crossover, good but a bit overrated post game and a killer instict makes for one amazing player. But for anyone who says he is as good or almost as good as mj you obvously never say mj play so your are biased.
And i agree with JoeWolf1 he will get his second MVP this year.
This was painful for me to write because i am a huge lebron fan.
Kobe is the perfect playaer and my favorite he got the perfect crossover, perfect size for the position, perfect leadership. And at 31 he still is athletic as he was when he was 25. to me he still is the best player in the nba.
Kobe is great and the best in the league right now. The lakers would win 70 games if the quit giving Odom so many of Bynums mins their defense is on another level with bynum, gasol, artest, and kobe. I just hope all the younger stars take a page from kobe and keep working on their games so they can keep dominating when they get older like him
After watching that, I have decided that next time Lakers are in town, I NEED to go watch Kobe play live. he has been around so long and accomplished so much that you just take him for granted. Who cares who is better jordan or kobe? Just cherish Kobe Bryant and his few years left in his prime because he is truly one of a kind and you may never get to see anything him again in your life.
yeah micheal wilbon must not have ever seen jordan play then because he also just said kobe very very close to jordan. and its known wilbon is a jordan lover. the bias people are the ones that will never admit that kobe is close to jordan because they have this undeniable love for jordan
I am celtics fan to start with but man Kobe right now is the best in the league. He has ice in his veins at the end of games. He is by far the best closer since Jordan. I don't see how people say thats hes not comparable to Jordan? hes not the same as Jordan but hes the closest we have ever had.
I can't blame people for saying Jordan is the best ever and better then Kobe, but if you can't admit how close they are, then I'm afraid you are the biased one. People act like Jordan never had off games or missed big shots. I agree Jordan is the best ever, but he paved the way for future generations like Kobe and it's damn close between the two. And I did watch Jordan in his prime.
Just watched the vid, thanks for sharing tezo. Guys like kobe don't come around too often and it's my pleasure to be a laker fan during his era. I think one of the all time Kobe memories people should never forget are the 3 airballs he threw up against the Jazz to end his rookie season in the playoffs. At 18 years old with veterans like Shaq, Horry, Van Exel and EJones around him, Kobe took all the big shots with the season on the line and he airballed them. And I'm sure even then he was hoping he could get the next shot as well. He's had that same instinct his whole career and that is why he is who he is today.
I agree the praise everyone else has given, but that defense on CP3 was crazy in 2:10, lol. And.. Kobe makes LeBron look normal with his post fakes...
