Some notes that I have come across.
Pat Riley is interested in Tracy McGrady. It was reported, I think by Y! Sports, that Riley was itching to make a move and was paying close attention to how T-Mac was moving. Would he work next to Dwyane Wade and Michael Beasley, who has really come along lately.
Steve Blake is now on the block. Every time a team calls about Andre Miller, they are offered Blake. Getting rid of Blake forces Roy to play with Miller and it frees up time for the disgruntled Jerryd Bayless.
Elton Brand may be headed to the bench and the block. With the successful lineup the 76ers used to defeat the scary Warriors, could Holiday, AI3, AI9, Young, and Dalembart be the new starting 5 for the Sixers??
Dexter Pitman keeps getting love from the NBA scouts for his ability to move at his size. Does Pitman have a spot in the NBA as an undersized C or can he play PF??
I think because of his size, Pittman, would be best suited at c. Guys like Chris Bosh, Amare, Josh Smith, and those type of tall, quick face up players would abuse him. He is best suited to use his strength, bulk, and good footwork to work on the low block whether it be on the offensive or defensive end. Im also excited for the Texas/UNC game, Pittman has played very well at the beginning, but before I'm sold on him being any more than a backup center in the league I need to see how he plays against guys like Deon Thompson and Ed Davis.
What's McGrady out there for... offense? He's a little to old and banged up to compete on both ends. It'll be interesting to see what McGrady does from here on out.
Found out earlier that Chalmers was benched because he was later for practice. It was a one time thing unless he has to be disciplined again.
