Reports are that Wade has completely stopped talking to his teammates and that he's unhappy with their poor play. His disappointment has been showing more and more each game.
If you were Pat Riley and it became clear that Wade wasn't going to re-sign, would you trade him now instead of letting him walk away and get nothing in return?
he said he's gonna let the coach talk and has been silent lately but to not look to deep into it. there will be some fans im sure who will look at this and think "oh yeah he's gone for sure" but dont buy into it. he will be happy then unhappy many times through the year with his team because they will have there ups and downs
i read something a little differen't. he's letting the coach talk. no doubt he's unhappy...i hope miami gets their sh!t together fast.
yeah i think you read the same thing i did
I haven't read anything about that yet. I just heard this news on Around the Horn and PTI.
I think this could be a real issue though. Wade doesn't look happy on the court. He looks like he's just playing by himself out there. IF this becomes a REAL issue... What should Riley do? If it becomes clear that Wade will leave, should he just stand by and let it happen?
i doub it becomes or is even a issue.. this isnt the first time he's been unhappy and alot of players( i recall kobe) being unhappy with his teams play. it would be different if they had alot of talent or added some good free agent( like the raptors) but he knows how good his team is plus he made it be know to not read to much into it. of course the media and some people will look very deep into it and make it bigger then it really is. miami fans only need to worry if he starts talking to the media saying hes tired of this and hes gonna be happy when the season is over
I think he should let beasley go to work more often and JO more often and his job would be a lot easier and teams wouldn't be able to focus on him. They were winning early cuz he was letting other players get off more. No matter how good you are woth teammates just watching you like fans on the court your team will struggle. No need to be mad he has a young team these are the times he needs to be a leader. They should be mad at him for not getting back on defense while complaining to the refs van gundy pointed that out about 4 times one game and ive been watching for it since and he always does that as does a lot of stars but with his team he cant afford to do that
i agree beanz. there are sometimes when im watching the game and he's trying o do too much instead of getting his team more involved. he has to know that his teammate cant turn it on and off like he can so why not get them hot first then mix in youre game with the team game. im sure he will learn to do that as years go on just like kobe jordan learned to
he will have to or be mad all the time they are to young not to be involed and then give them the ball when nothing is going for him
if this becomes a huge issue which it won't then yeah trade him but this isn't a big deal, it was probably just a moment of anger on wade's side. that team is better than their record
lol i repeat what wade said and get negitive. there shouldnt be any reason anyone on this post gets a negitive
Wade's a competitor..he didnt like losing to the Lakers on Kobe's last second shot..And he didnt like memphis coming into their building and blowing them out...he'll be ok....besides Beasley the rest of his teammates arent very good..While they do have an aging frontcourt..O'Neal has been solid but not spectacular so far this season, despite been slowed by injuries the past few years..Miami's stuck in the middle...they're not good enuff to be considered a title threat and not bad enuff to get another high pick...
Wade's team is just not that good. And wade is in his prime right now so you know this is frustrating for him. They had better hold onto him and go after some major help this summer.
im almost certain he will get help next year..either from bosh or boozer or lebron and probably another smaller name
Hes in a different situation than Bosh....Miami has a legit chance to resign him, and unlike other teams can actually afford 2 max free agents....Miami does not want to live with the fans malcontent of trading their franchises best player, whereas i think TOR would be smart to trade him, I cant see him going there
D-Wade's going to The Bulls.
He's done with Miami.
If Dwyane Wade leaves this summer, the Heat would have almost $40 million in cap space. How is that not the best of a bad situation?
