Lebrons support cast

I am sick and tired of people saying that the Cavs arent doing anything, he wanted a shooter they got Wally Z, he wanted Defense they got Big Big, a good guard Mo william, interior force Shaq. They get the best deals available. The KG deal and the Gasol deals were inside jobs to get the Laker and Celtic to be good again.

saying wally sczerbiak, ben wallace, and a 37 year old shaq are comparable to KG and Pau Gasol makes me think you're not a follower of the NBA

I kind of agree, everyone

I kind of agree, everyone always blames Lebron not having a ring because of his supporting cast, but they've made more moves since he's been there then anyone in the league...maybe it's not the 30 guys who have been in and out of there in the past 7 years, it's him that is stopping them from winning a championship. People always say that Lebron makes players better, but more often then not their numbers drop when they come to cleveland...go figure.

you're crazy fastdan if you

you're crazy fastdan if you think Lebron is the reason they haven't won a title. What all-stars has Lebron had to win with? Z, Mo WIll, and now an old ass Shaq. add to that a bunch of mediocre role players and Lebron should be given credit for the sucees they have had. Cleavland does try to make moves. The moves just aren't all that good.

As for the people saying KG and Gasol trades being inside jobs, keep making excuses why your team isn't winning.

lebrons supporting cast is

lebrons supporting cast is GARBAGE. To say getting wally and 37 year old shaq is helping lebron is absurd. If he leaves they are left with absolutely nothing. Everyone on that team is old, if lebron leaves big z and shaq r probably retiring, they dont have much young talent because they have been drafting in the late 20s, only semi decent prospect is hickson and hes not even that good. If lebron leaves this team is in BIG trouble and might challange that nets record with mo williams as their star player.

i can't believe some people

i can't believe some people when they say that cavs have a better supporting cast than the knicks

probable 2010 roster
cavs - gibson, hickson, jackson, parker, moon, powe, varejao, mo and maybe 38 yr old shaq - thats awful
knicks - danilo, chandler, douglas, hill, jeffries(maybe), curry (probably), Lee (probably), Harrington(50-50, he wants to take paycut to stay), money for max in 2011 if they cant trade curry and jeffries.

not even close

Shooter?

Shooter? Wally Sczerbiak is a shooter? When he was a Timberwolf, yeah, he could shoot lights out but as he got to Cleveland he was never that Wally I knew... He was a mere bench boy who couldn't shoot a lick... He keeps throwing ridiculous bricks even he was wide open... Freakin' ridiculous... So don't say adding Wally Sczerbiak was a good move because in my eyes, he has done nothing to deserve praise...

wally. Amazing in college at

wally. Amazing in college at miami of ohio. Very good with Minnesota. Made an all-star team one season and the game before the all star break he dropped 40 on someone. He was aggressive and would put his head down and work hard to get a shot off instead of just picking up his dribble and kicking it out. Then he went to boston and became average. By the time he got to cleavland he was a bench player and his self confidence on offense dissapeared and he became strictly a spot up shooter with poor defense, ball handling, and passing.

EXACTLY

EXACTLY ll... Imagine if he went to Cleveland with the player that he was in Minnesota, no doubt they would give Orlando a run for their money...

HAHA

Wally? Wally was never the same after he left Minnesota. I'm not sure what happened. I mean at his best he was shooting like 50% from the field and 40% from 3. Even though he is a horrible defender if he had brought that type of touch to Cleveland, that team would have been able to do a lot more.

As for the rest of the team, there isn't much. If an old out of shape Shaq or Mo Williams is your 2nd, best player, then you are not playing with much. I do think their front office is trying every year to make the team better, but they made the mistake of not building with young guys that could go up and improve with Lebron. Instead they give him guys that have either hit their ceiling or guys that are passing by their best years.

wally wasnt the same in

wally wasnt the same in cleveland and his defense sucked. shaq is not the shaq of old..and the gasol and boston deals werent inside jobs..lol..comeone now...you see how well that deal worked out for okc??????..that brought them durant and jeff green so how you figure it was a inside job?..you really think they would have had a brighter future with ray allen?....and the grizz deal looks less and less lopsided as time goes on( although it still is) but the point was to get under the cap and get young players. plus they had gasol for who knows how long and werent going anywhere. the same with the twolves with garnett

I remember Wally getting

I remember Wally getting fouled really hard one game when he was in Minny, cant really remember who fouled him (Gerald Wallace maybe???? not sure), but he came down on his back, and I remembered he was hurt really bad. Maybe this is the reason why he wasnt the same player when with the Cavs and Bos.

churchboy1

worst supporting casts in the NBA are cleveland to lebron, miami to wade, and indiana to granger...

a couple moves teams need to make to be contenders:

Minnesota-effective wing scorer in starting 5 and off bench (wesley johnson and tyler smith?)
OKC-powerful inside presence on offense and D (demarcus cousins?)
Sacramento-talented scorer that can play the 3 or the 4 (gani lawal?)
Chicago-true shooting guard (xavier henry?)
Houston-Big man over 6'6'' (trade for marcin gortat?)

lol...demarcus cousins as a inside presence and d?..please tell me you mean after his soph or jr year because hes already shown what he does when faced with good pro caliber nba big men. plus he has foul trouble against college big men imagin the foul trouble against nba big men. sac town has spencer and thompson and caspi. they just need to let them develop and see if they can get some bench help

You cant blame his

You cant blame his supporting cast its him hes a great player but he wants to do so much his teammates get lost in the shuffle. Why do you think shaqs number have went down so much this year? Lebron wants to lead the team in points, rebound, and assists so what else can his teammates do? Also the cavs make more moves than anybody to get him help but do you think players are dying to play with him knowing all their stats will go down acroos the board?

Everybody that comes gets

Everybody that comes gets alot worse when they get there. But you cant give him a good guard cuz they will just be a spot up shooter. They would be like roy and miller cuz lebron is really the point. They cant get a good 2 guard cuz lebron dominates the ball and if you give him a good bigman they will clog up the lane and be in his way thats why they always try to get shooters around him
