Question I have to ask

Who's giving David Lee 55-60 mil a year next offseason? I don't see not one team in the NBA who will.

Lee is a great player (19ppg, 11rpg and about 54% FG) but is not a 55 mil guy.

Yeah, nobody will (If their smart). He is going to be disappointed if that's the type of money he expects.

I could see a team giving
I could see a team giving him 5 years 40 million. Lee is a double double machine. He is a team player with a great attitude & works hard.

I have a feeling Lee will

I have a feeling Lee will experience something similar next summer to what he did this past summer. Nobody is going to pay him anywhere close to $11 million. He's a very good player, but his numbers are inflated somewhat. Lee will have to take less. I think he should get paid Anderson Varejao money... About $8 million a year.

I don't think he's worth 8

I don't think he's worth 8 mil. He's a 5 year guy to me personally.

Suns- if Amare

Suns- if Amare leaves

Kings-

Raptors- If Bosh leaves

Thunder

Nets

Bulls- If they don't resign Tyrus

Heat

These are just some teams off the top of my head that will likely have some interest in David Lee next free agency.

People blame the system too

People blame the system too much, Amare Stoudemire and Channing Frye are running the same system, and are averaging only 13 rebounds, combined.

David Lee definetly wont get 60mill, but he should get a nice amount of money

One of the better ambidextrous players in the league, and one of the better rebounders

Weakest point is defense, but hes 6'9 playing Center, against guys 2-4 inches taller than him every night

I think David Lee is a 6th

I think David Lee is a 6th man or a 2nd unit player. He's very tough and can score decent, and rebound very good for someone his height. But I think he's a classic example of a player that gets way overpaid because teams look at his numbers, instead of at whether they could've been inflated (which I believe they are) and how he fits with a team. I think Portland would've been good for him, but they didn't sign him because they didn't want to overpay for a 2nd team player. They were smart for that IMO. I think Lee would be a good fit for a contending or future contending team like Denver or Oklahoma City.
