I do not agree

First of all let me state that I am a die hard Tar Heel fan. That said, I do not agree in the least with Roy Williams for kicking the Presbyterian fan out of the Dean Dome for yelling at Deon Thompson while he is shooting free throws. I found it to be a very prima donna move on his part and as a Tar Heel fan feel that such a low class move has no place in Tar Heel nation. This program is held to a higher standard and that should include the coaching staff. The terrible thing the kid said...."Don't miss it Deon". Come on Roy, if anything you should be thinking "Is that the best this guy has as far as insults go?" If such an insignificant thing can get to the head coach of one of the top 5 college basketball programs in the nation then I believe the coach should re-evaluate his choice of coaching venues.

Just wanted to see what the general opinion of the basketball watching world was on this matter?

agreed

UNC is one of my fav teams usually in college (I will admit, I kind of bandwagon jump in college depending on who goes where) but this move by roy williams was baffling. The fan had to of done something earlier in the game to deserve this. Plus, I didn't even know coaches had the authority to kick someone out, can an away coach do the same??

was this during a game? If

was this during a game? If so, then I seriously doubt you are telling the whole story here. A guy says "don't miss it Deon" and he is kicked out of an arena? Hardly likely that is all he said/did to get kicked out of a game. If it was practice, then maybe they were upset a fan watching was yelling at the players and they wanted silence. Either way, what does this have to do with the fan being Presbyterian?

It is

during a game and their is video of it. The guy looks completely shocked about being removed, not intoxicated, not making a spectacle of himself. Roy turns around and starts yelling at the guy. Sports Illustrated actually ran a small piece on it in their Extra Mustard section.
