You dodged a big bullet
You dodged a big bullet Truth. I would've beat every team in the league except for you this weekend.  Man bad luck for me.

No to Morris Almond. Ime

No to Morris Almond. Ime Udoka would be a nice pickup. But I don't see Utah signing anyone and unless we suck this year, I don't see any trades either.

Ronnie Brewer and Andrei Kirilenko both looked like better shooters in the opener. I want to use the beginning of the season to see what they can do with more minutes.

Yeah he did. It always

Yeah he did. It always sucks being the highest scoring losing team, especially when you could have beat every other team that played. Happened to me all the time in my family/friends league. I was just 30 points away from being the highest scoring team in that league and I'm not even in the playoffs or consolation.

He may not end up in the top

He may not end up in the top 5, but he is a lottery level talent, if the chips fall the right way.

McAdoo could be something of

McAdoo could be something of a sleeper in the top of the draft coming into the season. He is super skilled and has a great basketball IQ. He doesn’t necessarily leap off the page as an athlete, but he is very good and if he has a solid season at North Carolina especially with John Henson and Harrison Barnes out of the way, he could really solidify himself as a top-10 talent, maybe even top 5.

Trying To Get Healthy:

Trying To Get Healthy: Hornets’ guard Xavier Henry was supposed to be a can’t miss breakout-type NBA player. During the draft process in 2010 he was considered one of the best shooters in the class, however a lengthy contract battle with the Grizzlies and injuries have put Henry on the outside looking in.

Most of the Hornets players

Most of the Hornets players have been running informal workouts in NOLA trying to build some chemistry and get a handle on what the Hornets will expect of them.

To believe that because a

To believe that because a player is on the roster today means he owes something to the team that holds his rights is not only naive, it’s downright foolish.

That pick ended up becoming

That pick ended up becoming Omer Asik, who is now set to start at center for the Houston Rockets. He never made his way to Portland, though, because they traded him to Chicago in a three-team deal that also included Patrick Mills, Jon Brockman, and Jerome Jordan. Just a throw in at the time, Asik is now arguably the second-best piece involved.

Isaiah Thomas – Pick

Isaiah Thomas – Pick originally owned by the Chicago Bulls
There probably won’t ever be a case of a team regretting losing the 60th overall pick more than this one. The Bucks originally received the pick from the Bulls in a multiplayer trade that included Hakim Warrick, Joe Alexander and multiple picks. The 2011 second-rounder that was included turned out to be the steal of the draft: Isaiah Thomas, but the Bucks gave it up long before the selection was even made.
