We've been hearing for a few days now that Vinny Del Negro was going to lose his job, and now that the Chicago Bulls have not only lost ten of their last twelve, but recently they've just been getting blown out. They aren't even putting up a fight, and the offense is about as sloppy and uninspired as any I've ever seen. Ever. So, when does Vinny lose his job?
Good question. Part of the problem is that there's nobody on the coaching staff ready to step in and take control. Whatever they do, nothing big seems like it would change by removing Del Negro, so why eat the salary? Why not just let him go the rest of the season and see if he can't figure this thing out?
In any event, this 26-point win tonight is the tenth straight for the Celtics, and players in that locker room seem pretty focused on getting the most out of this season. Nobody wants to talk about this team being worthy of a championship; they want to stay focused on the task (Kevin Garnett was VERY adament about this tonight). But the more they win, and the better their bench and defense gets, the better their chances look.
The Bulls look bad, folks, and the Celtics look good. Tonight was a perfect example of both of those things, if nothing else.
im suprised no one has mentioned the game and rondo vs rose( rose scored more but rondo clearly was the better player/pg and seemed to look to score more then he usually does)
