pg sg sf pf c

PG- Nash
SG- Kobe
SF- Melo
PF- Dirk
C- Dwight Howard (although the way his game is coming along &$#%#&@! me off, he is still a pure center)

I only used current players and also Dirk might not be a prototype PF of old, but in today's NBA he is what every single GM looks for in a PF in his inside-out game.

PG - Chris Paul (Nash's

PG - Chris Paul (Nash's strength is more the run-and-gun, not half-court)
SG - Kobe (enough said)
SF - Melo (LeBron has the ball in his hands a bit too much to be the purest SF)
PF - Dirk (I agree about the inside/outside game)
C - Dwight Howard (big, strong presence down low)

Shaq has to be the C, he may

Shaq has to be the C, he may be past his prime, but he embodied what a center does at its purist. Score down low, rebound block shots, he may not be a top 10 center anymore, but he is still the purest C from a position standpoint in the league today. Also Chris Kaman is a pretty pure center too.

Fizer

PG- Jason Kidd - the only guy right now to make a difference on the court without ever scoring...
SG- Kobe Bryant- simply the best shooting guard in the NBA... Just watch him...
SF- LeBron James- Mr. Do-It-All Forward... He is a guy that's going to put up and make his teammates feel good.
PF- Tim Duncan- Though he is a bit oversized for that position... His game filled with basic fundamentals is what the power forward's play should be...
C- Andrew Bynum/Dwight Howard- Their presence downlow which is intimidating is definitely ON... They rebound and block shots and provide that threat both on offense and defense...

Of All Time...

PG - Magic Johnson - He was a mismatch every game, and his ability to score was unbelievable. He could take over games himself as well as make the entire team better...

SG - Michael Jordan - Kobe is great, but Jordan take my pick here. He was incredible with the ball, regardless of when in his career. He was so athletic and had amazing body control allowing him to both drive with ease but to shoot from anywhere on the court and be able to score. Lastly he was a shut down defender, which I feel puts him ahead of Kobe...

SF - George Gervin / Clyde Drexler - A man rarely admired, but the Iceman could create his own shot and also get involved in the paint with the bigs. As for Drexler, he was a great pure scorer as well as one of the toughest defenders.

PF - Karl Malone - The best PF in my mind is one who scores, rebounds and is a physical presence every night. Karl Malone was the purest Big Man scorer and his rebounding was incredible, but his defensive mindset to his game was what made him stand out.

C - Bill Russell / Wilt Chamberlain / Kareem Abdul-Jabbar - Bill Russell has 11 Championship rings, so there is no need to question his talent. His rebounding and blocks alone make him an elite player. Wilt "the Stilt" Chamberlain scored 100 points, that alone is amazing. And lastly Kareem was a Pure scoring athletic center. His length was his advantage with blocks, rebounds and his famous Sky hook.
