Evans or Jennings?

Both rookies are performing well in their rookie campaign but who's better?

Jennings
21 ppg 4 rpg 6 apg

Evans
19 ppg 5 rpg 5 apg

I really love Brandon Jennings but I have to say Tyreke is better between the both of them. Jennings may have better numbers and had the 55 point game, but Tyreke plays with more poise and is more efficient, it also helps the Kings win more games. He's also a better all around player and has better shot selection, either way the they both have helped their team win games.

ROY: Too early to say, but if I have to bet on someone, I take Jennings.

After 5 years

I'm really betting on Evans to be an all-star player also with Jennings. Jennings will be an Allen Iverson type guy with the game, tatoos, and the demeanor, I think Evans will be more of a Penny Hardaway type player.

Tie

As of now...I'm saying it's a tie...Both players are special, and both clearly have their strengths and weaknesses.

If I can only pick one...I'm taking Jennings, but I'm suer hesitant about that decision...

Evans has done way better

Evans has done way better than I thought he would, but due to his somewhat limited athleticism his ceiling isn't as high as Jennings and defenses will be able to stop him once the scouting reports catch up. Evans is basically Wade without the hops and he's really gonna have to improve his jumper if he wants to keep being successful. Jennings has obviously struggled with his shot the last 6 games or so but that'll sort itself out. His athletic ability, handle, feel for the game and confidence are at an ELITE level. Like I've been saying since the day I got here Jennings will be the best player from this draft when it's all said and done.

The crazy thing about both

The crazy thing about both of them isnt that theyre playin great but that theyre leading there teams to victories if the Kings keep winning Evans will probably overtake him for ROY

No

He's missed too many games....Plus, his stats won't be close anyways because of the big men depth on that team.

when is Griffin coming

when is Griffin coming back?

I would take Evans over Jennings for now, it seems like the other teams have found a way to stop Jennings, but Evans still looks unstoppable right now.

most of evans #'s are going

most of evans #'s are going up and jennings fg% is dropping the last check this out the last 8 games hes had he has more fg attempts then points. 127 points on 147 shot attempts
http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/players/gamelog?playerId=3997
and all u guys laughed at the draft analyst that said he was a streaky shooter before the 55 pt game

why do people keep comparing

why do people keep comparing BJ to Iverson? Iverso was a score first and score second point guard who passed as a last resort. Jenning is a pure point guard, who had to step up his scoring when Redd was out with injury. Anyways back to the question, it's close but I'd go with Jennings. I think he has more upside and again is more of a pure point. I really like Tyreke tho

I watched Tyreke

I watched Tyreke tonight(finally!!!) and he was dominant, even Wade wasn't so better, just time's question when he will become a star. offcourse same with Jennings...but IDK maybe because i saw two Jennings' games and it wasn't 55point game wasn't some of 25-30 and near triple double games even wasn't last nights' 24/4/4, or maybe it;s because at this point of season Tyreke playing really better and looks NBA ready, but i would take Tyreke.

can

Can anyone say co-rookie of the year?

jennings and evans have taken miserable squads both struck by injuries (michael redd/andrew bogut in milwaukee and kevin martin in sacrameno) to successful winning records thus far into the season. It's too early to tell as of right now which player will have the better career but all i know is minnesota messed up by not taking jennings with 1 of their 2 picks...sacramento has a nice backcourt with martin and evans...both players are capable of winning the award but right now its dead even

we'll have to wait and see how blake griffin plays when he returns...also what about a little bit of consideration for hasheem thabeet lol jk

i dont think blake has a

i dont think blake has a chance...maybe on a team where he would be the number one option so he could put up numbers but with gordan, davis, and kaman carrying the load and thortan every so often its gonna be hard for blake too do much more then maybe 13-15 and 6-9reb. i do like the co-rookie idea and the fact that those 2 are getting wins for teams that werent thought to do much and have been struck by major injuries is amazing

I'd take Jennings

Evans is having some more success now because he is more physical and likely will be a bigger scorer, but Jennings is a true pg who is a unique player. He will be the most important to his team. Both are looking excellent though.
