A couple rookie big men have been putting up big numbers in the D-League.
The enormous 6'11'' 300 pound John Bryant is averaging 15 ppg and 14 rpg with 2bpg in his first 2 games while shooting 64% from the feild and an underwhelming 33% from the line.
BJ Mullins is averaging a very solid 13.5 ppg and 10.8 rebounds per game and one block through 4 games. Eluding that he is a better rebounder than he showed in college.
You guys think either one of these guys will get called up and see signifant minutes this season?
U dont wanna get any of us started on John Bryant ..we all know what hes capable of lol
"enormous" is the perfect adjective if you were here at the beginning of this year you could of heard some other good/funny adjectives
Yeah, on this site, John Bryant gets no love, hes the laughinf stock of this site, theres like a 30+ page thread about this guy...
Not the biggest fan myself, but the giant puts up gigantic numbers...
haha, I know, I know, I was just looking at the stats and saw he was 2nd in the D-League in rebounds. I didn't think he was an NBA player before the draft, but i didn't know if anyone had read anything else. I think he is a poor man's Aaron Gray, lol, but then again I haven't seen him play in the D-League
lol its just D- league where they play the WCCs of the league i still don't think he has the athleticism or toughness to play with the big boys i like Mullins a little he looks way better than he did at Ohio State i still don't think he can do much yet in the nba but they knew he would take time.
how can there be a poor mans aaron gray?
Exactly my point.
John Bryant is known by another name apparently, David Zurfluh...
Is he really THAT bad at basketball?
He may not be that bad but he is sure a good basketball player to laff at
He gets more crap then Eddy Curry haha
When you start talking about John Bryant, you better be prepared of the flooding pictures from Antoine Walker...I mean...butidonthavemoney...LOL
I think he's more of Big Country Reeves than Aaron Gray...LOL
who wins a 2 on 2 bball game:
Aaron Gray and Eddy Curry vs. John Bryant and Jerome James
haha, I realize this now, also...
I was watching an OSU game last year and they showed Bryant Reeves on the sideline, I'm pretty sure he weighs 400 pounds now.
