Manny Harris

So the 2011 mock on here has him being a mid second round draft pick(#36). Manny is averaging something like 22 pts 10 reb 6 ast per game, I know its early and Creighton, Marquette, and Alabama arent great (yet not slouches ), and we will definitely see if he can keep it up in Big 10 regular season play (and at kansas). But I could definitely see Manny Harris being a good player in the NBA, he has steadily improved over his first three seasons in pts, reb, and ast, and seems to be a pretty good athlete and has some length. What do you guys think? I think he should at least be in the first round after watching his last few games...

He'll play himself into the

He'll play himself into the 1st round, but he could run into problems if he doesn't get his 3-point shooting together. He seems like he'll be a benchrider for the 1st couple of seasons in the NBA, then prove to be a good scorer. He doesn't quite have the jump shot to be a big impact player in the NBA immediately, because he doesn't have a middle game and he's not quite a good enough shooter. He also isn't much of a defender. As a matter of fact, I think his career will go just like Jamal Crawford's, except he won't have the 50 point games like Crawford does. Meaning he'll be too rough around the edges to play for like the 1st 2 years, then he'll show very good offensive ability after that.

manny

Manny is in an unfortunate position, heis ahaving to play out of position at michgian and hes not getting a chance to show what he can do at shooting guard...he comes across to me like a bunch of guys do that play out of position (rodney green at LaSalle, Tyler Smith at Tennessee) they are talented guys but aren't getting looked at by scouts because they are doing things that you would expect someone 6'10'' to do in the NBA so they are considered too small and not good enough at playiing on the permieter. tyler smith could be like a sam young, rodney green could be a jermaine taylor..manny harris could be a deshawn stevenson type with more offense
