Amazing Comeback...

The Clippers were down by 16 going into the 4th quarter and the grizzlies were shooting at about 60% percent for the game with the clippers under 50%. Then came the 4th quarter. The clippers outscored the grizzlies 33 to 7 in the fourth quarter and finished out the game on a 22-0 run. They held the grizzlies to fg% around 10 in the 4th quarter and dropped the fg% in the game to 48.7%. The grizzlies had come into the game winners of 5 of their last 7 games including a win at Portland last game. Oh and Eric Gordon scored 29 points on 10 of 18 shooting while grabbing 5 boards and dishing out 5 assists. He also held mayo to 8 points on 2 of 10 shooting. And btw Q-hodges, he showed his killer instinct today while mayo did not. The Clippers are now 8-10 and have won 4 out of their last 5 games with 5 more home games in a row.

I didn't watch, but looking

I didn't watch, but looking at the statline, Gordon dominated Mayo. He had only 8 pts, on 2-10 shooting, and 4 assists in 42 min.

Hell Yeah!! That's what i

Hell Yeah!! That's what i won't to see from EJ. He just took-over in the 4th quarter.

That's the 2nd time Gordon has made Mayo look average.

I had to come back for this one lol

Ha ha... Somebody must have a foot fetish because they're consistently inserting their foot in their mouth. He probably has the foot to mouth virus at this point. Y'all know who I'm talking about too. Gordon has no killer instinct? LOL! Like I've consistently said... Give him time.

Gordon outplayed Mayo in every single facet of the game. He had a better overall game, outscoring him 29 to 8 (talk about obliteration) and then shutting him down on offense. Gordon has passed Mayo up as a player and it's about time for y'all to start taking notice.

I guess I pulled a Brett

I guess I pulled a Brett Favre. I retired for two days lol. I love this site man... I probably won't be on as much as I used to though.

I'm working on a website with this dude named Sean Bouldin (he trains a lot of NBA players from Indy like Eric Gordon, George Hill, Jeff Teague and Courtney Lee). It'll probably take a couple of more months before it's a finished product though.

Which juco? We haven't

Which juco?

We haven't decided what our name will be yet, but we'll basically be branching off from this website called 100percenthoops.com. You can go there right now. Sean used to train there (I was an intern), but is starting his own business.

Clippers

What you think lol? You think we got a shot to be .500 around the time Blake Griffin aka Amazing returns lol? Knock on wood, but things are starting to look good. Gordon is back and healthy... Thornton is looking A LOT better and has regained his athleticism.

Tezo i think that we will be

Tezo i think that we will be around .500 when Griffin is healthy. Kaman had an off night and they still had a good win. If EJ shows that killer instinct more often they will be fine.

Gordon is nasty. I didn't

Gordon is nasty. I didn't even recognize him at the beginning of the season. He looks to be so much quicker and cut than he was in college. And he was great in college.

The word is that he'll

The word is that he'll return around Dec. 15th. I wouldn't be surprised if he returned in late Dec. though. He won't return until he's 100% healthy and has a few practices under his belt.

Rehab wise, he's been doing his regular rehab (majority of it being in water) and he's been receiving that platelet rich plasma therapy treatment. He's been doing just about everything while injured, besides play. He does these hand-eye coordination and dribbling drills that are killer. He's been doing a lot of shooting with both hands. He's been watching a lot of game film, etc. I just think he's going to be a monster.

agree 100% everyone's

agree 100%

everyone's prototype versatility big is 200pounder who can run jump dribble, but Blake is 250 strong man who jumps higher, driblles better, passes better than most of those guys..plus i think he will become really good enough jump shooter in the future

Another thing about Blake is

Another thing about Blake is he won't have to score to impact games. His hustle rating would be rated 99 in NBA 2K10 ratings lol. The dude just hustles and plays hard every possession... Literally. He has a great motor. He helps his team just by his enery. He's young, but he already has so many leadership qualities. He's REALLY going to help the Clippers.

It was a good game

That was a good game i watched the 4th quarter and the grizzlies just looked out of sync they couldnt get any shots up the clippers steped up their defense and they went on an amazing 17-0 run to win the game.

sometimes i wonder if ya'll

sometimes i wonder if ya'll even listen..i always said gordan has the ability to do it and wondered why he didnt. tezo youre the one who said" hes doing the right thing by taking the back seat to the vets" but now that he did what i said he should be doing im the one whos wrong??..you said he should keep doing what hes been doing REMEBER?,,so yeah you insert foot into mouth or do you think he should continue to do what he was doing in the past as YOU SUGGESTED or do what he did this past game as I suggested mr/ms dana

also killer instinct is shown from more then one game

from an old post
"its not like he doesnt have the talent to get 25ppg. killer instinct also has more to do with just how many ppg he gets and more to taking over the game during cruntch time or during long periods of the game"

"some players have it and some dont..he can eventually get it but for the most part you come into the leauge with it...kobe wasnt as good when he came in but he stiol had that i want it at game time near the end even while being surrounded by vets..there really isnt any reason he shouldnt..he has his hands on the ball enough and hes talented enough..im glad there is a clippers and gordan fan who sees it...some clippers fans up here think we are out of our minds for saying it but these are the same people who said in earlier post that they wonder why hes only taking few shot when hes been hitting a good percentage and being in the game by the start of the fourth quarter..and thats the thing i think will separate him mayo in the future as far as me saying i like mayo more."

"cuz everyother fan i know what REALLY matter is the team playing better and gordan taking over games and leading them to more wins as well as taking over the game int he fourth quarters more times then not since thats where games have slipped from the clippers"

So now you're putting words

So now you're putting words in my mouth, huh lol? You're desperate I see. You comprehend worse than any other poster on this site so how can you wonder if anybody is listening? I'm about to start ignoring you just like a mod asked me to do.

Just to make this clear though... I've NEVER said Gordon was doing the "right thing" by taking a back seat to the veterans. I said that he did have killer instinct (after you said you'd take Mayo over Gordon because Mayo has more killer instinct), but that he didn't have a dominant personality and was playing his role behind veterans with dominate personalities, especially on offense. I never said I was okay with him doing that. I said that soon he'd take the role as the go-to player and that the ball would be in his hands instead of Baron Davis'. I said that it'll come (he's young and still gaining confidence in his ability to demand the ball from the veterans during crunch time), but as of right now... He just needs to keep playing the game the right way. I even posted about a similar situation in high school and said he needs to change his mentality. I've never said he was doing the "right thing".

Clippers is the one who made this thread and HE called you out about saying you thought Mayo had more killer instinct than Gordon. Once again... you're not reading or comprehending because nobody said you said that Gordon did NOT have killer instinct. However, you did say that Mayo had more of it than him... Which Gordon proved to be wrong in a head to head matchup. He's outplayed Mayo twice this season. That's all that needs to be acknowledged here. Gordon dominated Mayo. As of right now, he's showing that he's the better player and he's about to start being the go-to player for his team.

Quincey Hodges quotes: "i

Quincey Hodges quotes:

"i noticed gordan hasnt shown that killer instinct..he only takes a certain amount of shots it seems and doesnt have that 'im the most talented guy out here so imma take over the game' attitude."

"im not sure he does..the one complaint i hear is how he doesnt try to take over the game enough or only take 14attempts or less in a game."

"and thats the thing i think will separate him mayo in the future as far as me saying i like mayo more."

"hes just a lil too passive ..talented enough but just too passive"

"you can see the difference when you watch kobe or dwade play..these guys have that instinct...mayo has it too although his talent hasnt caught up with it and he hasnt been making the shots he takes."

"still doesnt have the killer instinct yet..but he does play safe."

exactly...i still say im not

exactly...i still say im not sure he does untill he does it for more than ONE GAME. you have a habit of going over board off of one game i notice. obviously he hasn't proven any of that wrong since its only been one game..if we went by ONE GAME i think eddie house and toney delk would have to be mentioned along with gordan since they both dominated before in ONE GAME. ..so once again why would i be putting my foot in my mouth? and yes he out played gordan like lopez out played oden and jennings out played rose... see how i made no excuses but you make excuses for oden!!!...see when you call out someone you should probably make sure you are right because nothing i said was disproven

i think the clippers will be

i think the clippers will be around 2 games under .500 when blake returns bcuz they are inconsistent and are playing some tough teams orl, sa, hou, wash. but they will win the next 3 probably with blake because its minny, nyk, and phi on the road. we'll see. the indiana lost killed tho. they would have been .500 right now!

Naw... It ain't a rivalry until he actually beats me lol. This is like Cleveland and Washington. Washington thinks it's a rivalry, but they ain't never beat Cleveland in a playoff series.

This is like... Jordan vs Ehlo and kicking him... Hakeem vs Shaq and hitting him with "the dream" shake in the NBA Finals... Brandon Jennings vs the Warriors... You get my point lol. This ain't no rivalry bruh. This is a brutal murder. Somebody call a medic.

Craig Ehlo smells like crap whenever he's defending Jordan... Like I said before, I always laugh at "The Shot" because of Craig Ehlo's priceless reaction...LOL

I have all of the Jordan

I have all of the Jordan tapes (Come Fly With Me, etc) and my favorite is when Jordan did the baseline move against the Knicks and then boomed on Ewing lol.

Another one was when he got aggressive and layed it up over like three of the Knicks and said... "GET DOWN!!!"
