Elijah Millsap

What do ya'll think about Elijah Millsap? I saw him play at ULL down here a lot, where he was the Sun Belt freshman of the year, and I always thought he had a small shot at the pro's. What he's done statistically so far since he transferred to UAB though has convinced me of that. He's averaging 17.3 ppg, 9.0 rpg, 2.2 apg, and 1.7 spg on 45% FG/42% 3pt through six games.

He's got good size for a guard (6'6"), he's a lock-down defender, and he really gets after rebounds. He's also got the bloodlines (he's Paul's little bro).

I haven't seen him play for UAB yet, just looked at the stats, so I don't know what adjustments he's made to his game, but he did seem to force the issue a lot at ULL, not really being the team player his brother was at LaTech. Judging by the spike in his stats though, I think he should at least be on the radar for a second round pick in '11. Definitely a player to keep an eye on at least.

ive put up a couple post

ive put up a couple post about him. used to workout with him and his brothers out in utah and yeah i think he has a shot to get drafted in 2011. he works very hard just like paul, is a very very good rebounder and can shoot spoting up or off the dribble. will contend for conference usa player of the year this year. he could play his way into the first round next year. the kid is that good. on top of being able to have access to working out with nba trainers
