Who's Worse: T'Wolves Or Nets
I know it may be easy to just say "Minnesota because they've won one more than the Nets" but in reality, that ONE win was against the Nets, on a Damien Wilkins buzzer-beater, that game could have really gone either way...so lets put all that aside for this discussion
The Nets have been injury bugged, with Injurys from key players like Courtney Lee, Yi Jianlian, Keyon Dooling, and most importantly Devin Harris. Still winless, you've got to think that guys confidence are almost non-existance, which cant make things any better
The T'Wolves have just sucked, Al Jefferson missed 2 games, and Kevin Love has missed every game this season...but the T'Wolves main problem is depth...when you have guys like Ryan Hollins being key pieces in your teams rotation....you might have a problem, I think the T'Wolves need to make a deal for a good wingman...I think its time for guys like Corey Brewer, Brian Cardinal, and Ryan Gomes to go
So, im not talking about in 2 weeks, 2 months, or 2 years.....Out of these 2 teams which one is Worse...right NOW?
And another thing I wanted to talk about was, John Wall...neither of these teams are in bad PG conditions, they're both pretty solid at the position, so which team is MORE likely to draft Wall and given he continues to live up to expectation, which team is more likely to PASS on Wall??
New Jersey has no wins so they suck
Minny sucks less because have a win. The 1 win? Minny beat NJ
Thanks for reading my first paragraph QHaynes.............
lol. I read the topic sentence.
The Nets are a better team then Minny because they have somewhat of a easier road with bottom feeders in the east then Minny does in the west.
Minny is less up to pass up on Wall because NJ was shopping Harris during the Draft so if u get the 1st pick...more reason to trade him
Assuming everyone is healthy then I think overall the Nets are the better team. All Minnesota has literally is Jefferson & Love. All the other guys aren't really factors in my opinion, at least not at this stage in their careers. Taking injuries into account as of right now I still think the Nets are the better team.
As for what team is more likely to pass on Wall...I don't think either of them would but the TWolves are more likely simply because they have 3 young PGs in Sessions, Flynn, & Rubio.
Nets are better when Healthy, but haven't been at full charge for much of the early season. I'll go wtih Nets.
In terms of their line-up on paper, the New Jersey Nets have better talent than Minnesota... When you talk about having Devin Harris, Brook Lopez, Terence Williams, Sean Williams, Yi Jianlian, CDR and Courtney Lee on most part, those are guys good enough to make an impact in the NBA... Minnesota lacks the depth that the Nets have... Yes, they got Big Al and K-Love but who are the next guys expected to step up? They won't have Ricky Rubio in the next 2 years and they got a solid PG in Jonny Flynn, too but he's not better than Harris... Ryan Gomes and Corey Brewer are energy guys that don't really change nor control the game... I think the Nets are a better team though the Wolves have a better record...(slight)
Even if they combined both teams rosters together..I bet they'll still be losers...but it'll be an interesting starting lineup..and the slowest front court in league history...lol
shooting guard ..Devin Harris
Right now, I would have to say the Nets. They have veteran PGs running the team (Harris and Alston). They have a great young C who can defend and score (Lopez). Talented wing players who can really score (CDR and Lee). A young PF who's only job is to do what he does best and thats play defense and be athletic (Williams). Nice fill in the blank players (Hassel, Boone, Simmons). To me they are just the better team. These guys have 2 problems. They dont have the chemistry needed to be successful and they dont have anything to play for. Have any of you ever played for a loosing team?? I have. My senior year we were 4-16. I could ramble on about that for a while but I will spare you. Trust me when I say, there is nothing to play for. You dont practice hard, you dont prepare hard, you dont play hard. On a loosing team, everyone is trying to get theirs so that they can have their name in the paper headlined as "(Name) scores 40 in a loosing effort!" Its crazy. I also won a state championship the year before, so I know how it feels to win. All these guys need to do is win a couple and you will see them make a slight turn around. Im not saying they will be .500 or anything but they will play different. Also, I know Harris has been hurt, but why is he on the bench?? Can he not play alot or are they trying to harness the chemistry they built while he was out?? If its the chemistry issue, well, we are intelligent people here, I dont have to go into about how bad they are and how they need to play their best player. So you get my drift. PLAY HARRIS!!!!!!!!
I'm not going to debate the merits of the Nets and the Timberwolves. Both teams are terrible.
What I will say is, I do believe no team would pass on Wall. Whether this means pushing aside a player (or, in Minnesota's case, possibly sliding Jonny Flynn to shooting guard, where he's more of a natural fit anyway), or trading the pick, I feel very strongly Wall will be chosen first.
He's simply a level above the rest of this draft class, in the same way Olajuwon was when the Rockets took him a year after taking another center first, or Duncan was when the Spurs took him even with Robinson as their best player.
This is a weak draft class. Wall is a super talent. You don't pass on that.
I think the nets are the better team they have been in quite a few games in which they lost down the stretch they also lost at the buzzer to miami and they really dont get blown out Minnesota on the other hand is pretty bad there have been quite a few games where they have just not been in the games and got blown out by over 20 points.
if we are going by right now then it has to be the nets. they havnt won and one of minny's win was against the nets. pretty easy answer
