Just not feeling it anymore.
Yess!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The Knicks and I have a love-hate relationship...
Sometimes I watch games and say "why have I been loyal for so long?"
Watching teams like the Thunder, Blazers, Hawks, Bulls all develop their young talent and becoming successful, and the team i root for is waiting for the summer of 2010......Thats depressing, and its hard to stay passionate about a team when the team isnt passionate about themselves
Good to know i'm not alone. What scares me though is New York is a big market they will always have a team, Indiana be it the "Basketball State" is small and could fold.
I find myself watching the Thunder and Mavs more and more and Pacers less and less.
I've always like the Pacers. They are my second favorite team.
You guys have a rich history and some nice young talent.
Just praise the Lord you are not a Clipper, Grizzlies, Bobcat or Warrior fan. None of those teams have ever done anything significant.
REGGIE!!!!!!!!
Now i'm actually more interested in the Knicks now becaz they have some young players.
Though their still a bad team at least you see them changing from a team dominated by overrated vets to having a mix of young guys who can play.
Its not like 05-06 had like 120 million payroll a tool as a coach with Larry Brown who had problems with everyone on the team. Not to mention there was no sign of Isiah leaving.
Sometimes its better watching the team from the bottom move up than a team you know is good but realistically won't go any where in the playoffs like the Jazz.
If I was a Warriors fan I'd be more annoyed, same old system yeah they had that great playoff series against the Mavs but Davis, JRich and SJax are all gone now. Who's replaced them Curry, Maggette, Vlad and injured guards.
Until they let Nelson and his small ball system go they'll never contend.
I'm a Kings fan and after years of Richmond being the only reason to watch the Kings they started playing well the lockout year. Then after the decline the basketball was just horrible to watch. There was no hustle, only whining about missed calls. I hated Brad Millers ugly whiny face when he felt like he was fouled, when really he was just so slow and unathletic he couldn't do things most players in the NBA can do. They never tried on defense, never dove for loose balls...there's losing and there is that. Clippers fans have had it the worst and the Knicks are right there too but they have direction at least.
This year the Kings won't make the playoffs but I don't care, I can at least watch the games. I know people say true fans watch no matter what but it pained me to see them fail time and time again. There is nothing worst than watching uninspired play. This new Kings team is a bunch of young guys that to be honest I didn't really feel one way or another about to start the season, I wanted them to make me care. What I didn't expect was for them to actually make me watch. Lose or not they play hard for 48 minutes. They make annoying mistakes but I think most fans understand you're not always going to be good. What people want to see if you aren't very good is players at least TRYING. Pacers have rebounded well in the past after some bad years and I expect the same. It will get there soon, hopefully. It's harder when you are always average, you usually need some early picks to get better.
At least you have Granger and Hibbert's playing pretty solid
Sometimes its better watching the team from the bottom move up than a team you know is good but realistically won't go any where in the playoffs like the Jazz.
NYK2010 you have just made yourself an enemy. The Jazz are a very good team and has New York's draft pick this season that we can use to push us over the top.
Arsehole.
Lemons4life that is my other option. I'm a huge Kevin Durant fan and have followed him from Texas to the Seattle then OKC and also Eric Gordon have heard about him since high-school which is odd cause in New Zealand we don't here about High-school players much and then watched him in Indiana and now the dreadful Clippers. Those are two players i could just support from here on out.
Jazz: 6-6 wins over Clippers (4-9) Spurs twice (4-6) Knicks (2-9) 76ers (5-7) Raptors (6-7)
The Jazz are a very good team? You take out that part and the post makes sense. Two picks in a deep draft and they can be a good team with DWill, Boozer and Brewer...but a "very good team"
I didn't subtract points in case you're being sarcastic...
Yeah so what? We have had injuries up the yang. Are you saying San Antonio isn't good? They have been injured too.
Some of you are so blindingly stupid it is unbelievable.
The Utah Jazz have the same basic team that reached the Western Conference Finals only a few years ago. They have been injured a bit since but we are a VERY good team.
Subtract my points. Here I'll do it for you. They don't mean anything.
Nobody is allowed to talk sh*t about the Jazz except me and the other Jazz fans.
no one is allowed to talk about the jazz but jazz fans?..lol..sorry but it doesnt work like that in sports. anyones team can get talked about by anyone no exceptions. with that said i dont like the jazz..neverhave but i do know they have a good team. they are better then there record shows and when they get it all together they will be a mini force again..probably wont be as good as the lakers spurs nuggest or blazers but after that they should be able to beat the other teams come playoff time
So Minnesota has Utah's pick, Utah has New York's pick, and New York has no pick? OK, everybody on the count of three, take your picks back. One, two, THREE!!!
now now, let's not go hijacking this thread and have it become "Utah Jazz: skilled or not?"
Let's simply say that is true that we didn't fare too well last year in the playoffs and that our victories this year thus far had not been overly impressive, regardless of injuries or not. Getting CJ back and getting a potential top pick (in New York) means something good will happen sooner rather than later! Go Jazz!

As the last few seasons have gone on i find myself becoming less and less interested with the Pacers but don't want to give up on them. This happened to anyone else with there team?
