THE GRIZZ ALMOST HAD JENNINGS
HOW lucky are the bucks that this trade didnt go through
"in the weeks leading up to the NBA trading deadline last February, the Bucks and Memphis Grizzlies had trade discussions. The Bucks coveted Mike Conley, a quality young point guard.
If the Bucks had been able to consummate that trade, Conley undoubtedly would have been their point guard of the future and there wouldn't have been any need for them to draft Jennings.
The Bucks also explored trading the 10th overall pick, the one they used to select Jennings, who last week scored a franchise rookie record 55 points against the Golden State Warriors. "-Gery Woelfel of the Racine Journal Times

how does this mean the grizzlies would have had jennings?
Haha i was thinking the same thing...so stupid.....The real shame is the KNICKS almost had Jennings....By the way, I know Thabeet is a project but if you really think about it that is a horrible pick for the Grizzlies
It doesn't. Quincey is an idiot.
part of the trade(forgot to put) was them drafting jennings then trading him fro conley
wow white flash get off my nuts....unlike you i can move on from a disagreement and not contine to let it spill over to another chat room
You'd have to have nuts in order for me to get off 'em Queefy.
Relax guys stop puttin Jennings in the hall of fame already. He's not Chris Paul or Deron Williams yet.
He's had a great 9 games he's still got a ways to go. Shooting 56% on 3 pointers 24 out of 43 doubtful he stays anywhere near that %.
lol..thats what happens when someone plays well..some people go over board..like wit highschool freshmen(wall, favors henson) people already putting them in the nba allstar game
you have no idea who they would have drafted at ten qh. they most certainly did not almost have jennings
even if the grizz would have picked jennings, jennings would definitely not be putting up his great numbers. nobody could score 20+ ppg with mayo and gay and randolph in the same line-up.
