Last three drafts?
seriously, when can we finally admit that Oden will never live up to the hype? I'll be the one to say it, the blazers seriously &$#%#&@! up by not picking Durant. that's not to say that it wasn't the right choice at the time, but can you imagine the blazers with durant??? holy hell.
It is a close one between Rose and Durant. I mean Rose is a great explosive athlete, great point guard, gets his teammates involved, is a leader by example and Durant is a terrific scorer, a big mismatch for most, good athlete but to build a franchise around I am going to go with Rose. Point Guards like him are hard to come by and he makes his teammates better which leads to wins and in the long run Rose would be a slightly better choice.
I'M still a firm believer that the Blazers chose the best player for that team by picking Oden...Durant does nothing to make his teammates better..Some might say neither did Jordan or Kobe doing their 1st few years...But Durant doesn't have their competiveness or that swagga that says i'm the best player in the world...Durant is 1 of 3 players in the league that have a complete offensive game...The other 2 are Kobe & Carmelo....
