The Clippers are not as bad as you think they are

http://www.nba.com/statistics/player/Scoring.jsp?league=00&season=22009&...

look at the low shooting %'s vs. the clippers. kobe at 43.5, westbrook below 10, mayo terrible as well. btw, gordon has missed the last few games which is why some of the guys at the top are there.

also, thanks to Q-hodges for these stats.

well last year everyone

well last year everyone talked about gordon's defense not even being close to the amazing o.j. mayo's defense so im showing that, that is not true. also, baron defense doesn't get enough credit as shown here. one more thing, the clippers defense is not bad like most think. if they can beat the thunder today (tough task at okc), then beat NOH without cp3, then they will be 5-7 a game before gordon returns. thats fine because we just need to hover around the .500 mark until we get griffin and gordon back. the season is not over for the clippers. once gordon returns we can evaluate the team, but it is a completely different team without gordon because of how efficient he is.

the team was bad before gordan got hurt..all there wins were against sorry teams...there a bad team with or without gordan..just like you look to those numbers you also gotta look at the win/lose column

actually they were not bad

actually they were not bad before he went down. they should have beat PHX in game 2. they were up the whole game and then broke down at the end. then in game 1 they hung around most of the game with the lakers even tho they committed a million turnovers. in game 3 they were ahead of the jazz throughout the first 3 quarters but then dunleavy let the bench in too long against the utah starters and it got away from them. that was a tough game to win any way considering it was in utah where they have not won in forever. in game 4 they were with the mavs the whole way but dunleavy decided to keep baron, camby, and thornton out the ENTIRE 4th quarter and they lost in the closing 2 minutes due to the bench (on the floor) being tired from playing an unusual amount of consecutive minutes.

no one cares about the

no one cares about the reason a team loses the only thing that matters is the final score not that this happened or that or they should have..youre the only fan that cant accept that they just arent that good..even knicks fan have accepted they arent that good and they dont come up with every excuse int he book...the fact of the matter is the clippers are bad right now..you can try to spin it or rationalize or say potenially or hope or wie but in reality they arent a good team and are in the class with the other bad teams at the botom of the western conference...no excuses..

dude, stop calling out my

dude, stop calling out my team for being terrible. they are not bad. we are 11 games into the season, and they are 4-7. they just beat OKC on the road (very tough to do) and they are missing gordon and griffin still. they will be playing NOH next game without CP3 and have a good shot at winning. they then play memphis (another winnable game). if they manage to win both of those, they would then return home to play denver and get eric gordon back that game. they would go into that game 6-7 with a 3 game win streak. I don't know why u keep insisting that they suck, its as if u really hate them because they are also from LA and are just being really biased. and to compare the knicks situation with the clippers situation is just stupid. c'mon, really? btw they beat a team that is not a sorry team tonight and on the road (something u said they had not done).

Ignore Quincey man. He's a hypocrite. He loves to criticize and say negative things about other posters, but can't take it when I go at him. I had him crying (on a basketball website) last night because he couldn't take the way I was telling him about how fraudulent, hypocritical and biased he was.

Great road win for the Clippers tonight though! OKC has been a very good team so far this season. It was good to finally see the Clippers close a game out in the fourth quarter. Losses are losses, but the Clippers haven't been as bad this season as some people suggest. They've actually been in a lot of games, but lost them in the late third/early fourth quarters. I really think that if the Clippers can stay close to a .500 record when Griffin returns, they'll have a chance to make the playoffs.

^no way. avery is a near clone of dunleavy, he micromanages games just like him. he is not what the clippers need. the best options for the clippers are John Lucas, Byron Scott, and Mark Jackson.

As good

As good as Mike Dunleavy is AS A coach, he has been horrible the last 3 years... I don't know what happened but the Clips need a change of scenery in order for them to regain their 2006 form...

yeah a change of scenery

yeah a change of scenery might be the lat option since nothing else works....and it doesnt matter when a team loses a lose is a lost..ya'll kill me with the excuses( they are in it till the 3rd and fourth quarter) no one cares..all that matters is the end results not that you played a team will for 3 quarters...games are played for 4 quarters not three..clippers suck..lakers are good.. kobes a beast im out..lol

Like Reggie Miller quoted

"When you hit your first 10 shots and everything is going great, but when the game is on the line, those 10 shots don't mean anything..."
