Phoenix Suns (8-1) vs. Los Angeles Lakers (6-1)
This is just to precede the start of the game, ESPN's second game of the double header will be a big one. Both teams come in with one loss and Nash is playing as well as he ever has. This will be a great test to see how the Suns' supporting cast matches up with the defending champs. Definitely interested in seeing how Amar'e plays, and establishes himself as the third best player on the court, especially with Gasol out. Also interested in seeing how Frye defends Bynum and visa versa.
It really depends, if Bynum can be consistent in scoring and be able to defend Frye and if Kobe does his thing and they all play good defense you bet the Lakers will come out on top. Frye can hit the three which will be a problem for Bynum and if the Nash does his thing again and the Suns hit their shots, the Lakers will be buried in threes.
IF bynum can be consistant?..hes proven so far this year he can be very consistant scoring and rebounding so that no longer a question..and right now he has 11points...frye hasnt been a factor and the lakers arent just gonn alet phx go out and hit there threes..right now kobe is doing his thing while shutting jason richardson down and the lake show is up 10
Suns have nothing for them. Lakers are getting whatever they want and the suns are not getting hardly any easy buckets.
now 18 and 9 at half time for bynum...for some reason some people think bynum cant play well in a face pace game but he gets up and down the floor very quick and actually outruns some players
damn, that wasn't even a game. And Mbenga cost Farmar a top 10 highlight by blowing that dunk.
bynum once again was amonster..the chants on here of d.jordan being as good or almost as good as him are not longer heard....the thing thats scary is that the lakers are still playing without a second team all nba player in gasol
I never said Bynum couldn't be consistent I said if he continues to be consistent, if you remember correctly he has faced quite a lot of injuries which in the long run can affect you. I like Bynum, he is a good player, and has nice post moves and was a monster last night I agree and hope he has no more injuries.
i know and i was just saying im not worried about his consistantcy not even wit injuries since the second one was a freak injury..one major injury in 5 years isnt something that has me worried too much..now amare on the other had has had a couple major injuries and shoul dbe worried about
Yea I like Amare too as a player so it sucks seeing him a product of so many injuries. He went 2 from 15 from the field last night, missed a lot of easy shots and even a dunk. I feel sorry for him it could've been a much closer game if he played better.
thats what defense does to you..just the presence of a big man can change a players ability to score down low..even when they are open they have to think about if the big man is around to block there shot plus it gets tiresome checking a big man or odom who is a sf as well as apf
