Could this be the best rookie pg class ever?

Ty Lawson is the new rookie of year leader via espn.com. I dont agree with this since he is on a contender team and doesnt have to shoulder the load as much as brandon jennings or flynn may have to. But is this the best PG class ever with jennings, flynn, curry, lawson, and evans (not a pg IMO)? I think its a possibility, it seems like everyone has a different opinion on all 5 of them being better than each other. I know time will only tell, but as of right now, what do you guys think?

I would have to go back and

I would have to go back and look at past drafts, but it sure seems this would be the best. Also, keep an eye on young guys like Teague, Holiday, and Beaubois down the line. And don't forget Rubio either, I think he will be a very good nba player.

Yeah

Maybe the deepest. Class of '05 had better point guards.

I think so

You have a star in the making in Jennings, a couple very solid starters in Curry, Ty, Flynn and Teague( trust me). Tyreke will be moved to the 2 eventually unless he starts looking for others more. He reminds me of a guard version of Maggette crossed with Wade. Rubio has tons of potential and I think Rodrique is Barbosa 2.0

hey we can't forget people with talent like patty mills in the 2nd round to the blazers. he may be okay when he isn't injured and gets more burn.

could probably be the

could probably be the deepest and would be more deeper if evans learns the position(reminds me of a less athletic larry huges (both were tall pg in college but fit best at sg neither could shoot and both could get to the hole pretty well)

Yeah, this is definetly a PG

Yeah, this is definetly a PG class for the ages

You have guys like Evans, Flynn, Curry and Jennings who have been showing signs of greatness in there first 10 games...

Then deeper down in the draft, you have guys like Teague, Holiday, Lawson, Beabouis, who might not be a major part of their teams rotations, but there definetly apart of the future

And then you got the guys like Maynor, Collison, Douglas, Beverly*, Calathes*, Price, and Mills who have alot of skill, just need to put it all together on an NBA level

Deep but not Best

This may be the deepest talent in pg class but not the best pgs class. I would have to say CP3 and Dwill's class was the best. Because they are the two best PGs in the league right now and will be for awhile.

You guys are nuts....deepest

You guys are nuts....deepest maybe, but what does that mean? The best draft for PGs was obviously 2005 with two future hall of famers....Also I would take last years draft class where you have Rose, Westbrook,Augustine, Chalmers and a bunch of combos who could be considered PGs at some point Bayless, Mayo, Hill,

Agree with td8118. 2005 had

Agree with td8118. 2005 had Chris Paul and Deron Williams, the top two points in the league. Two other good starters in Monta Ellis and Raymond Felton and two good combo guards off the bench in Nate Robinson and Jarrett Jack.

1996 was a hell of a year too. Two future hall of famers (Nash and Iverson), a multiple time all-star in Stephon Marbury and a NBA championship starter in Derek Fisher.

In Deron Williams and Chris

In Deron Williams and Chris Pauls rookie year no one thought they were gonna be HOFers, give it some time...i believe this class has the POTENTIAL to be one of the greatest PG classes of all-time
