BULLS VS BUCKS

for those of us who watched it it wasnt the greatest game in the world .the shooting was pretty awful but there was some bright spots
deng did work..hes actually playing better then i thought he would
jennings vs rose- it was one sided..rose is quick but he just could stay in front on jennings who is even quicker but its not just that his handles are unbelievable so add that to his quickness and you can see why he gave it to rose...on the defense of end he played very good d especially for a rookie..a couple of people on here said he wold get destroyed by the big guards but so far against stucky and rose hes played very well..in time he will get stronger but unliek what big o said he doesnt have to get alot bigger....he forced rose into a couple bad shots and had him tuning the ball over( not sure how many around 4 or 5 from what i remebered...jennings isnt the greatest of shooters but he is a better shooter then both rose and rondo and you have to get out on him when he takes a mid range or a three

bogut looked pretty good and gave noah some problems before fouling out. ..charlie bell looked pretty good..warrick missed a bunch ..as well as salmons...as you can see there werent many good things to say about this game...the bucks actually should have won but gave up a very big lead

oh yeah trouble brewing with tyrus thomas...the announcers said he was sent home for complainning about not playing much during 4th quarters....he will probably get traded if they can find a reasonable trade since he complains and doesnt produce like they expect

they have a team option on

they have a team option on tyrus after this year I believe for like 5 mill for next season. But sending someone to the locker room or home is a pretty big deal. I don't tyrus is as good as he thinks he is.

Stop hating on Tyrus Thomas.
Stop hating on Tyrus Thomas.  The Bulls are dumb as shhhh for not playing him more.  If they think Taj Gibson can replace Tyrus then they are going to have a rude awakening once Tyrus is gone.  Trading him wouldn't be smart.  Apparently they don't know how to handle his personality.

Wow Jennings played great,

Wow Jennings played great, but Rose was injured and played limited mins, plus he took over when it mattered the most, in the 4th qtr, plus he blocked the rook Jennings to basically put the nail in the coffin. Come on son! Who got the W?

Jennings is the R.O.Y. as of now, no doubt, but have you seen his friggin team? They are the D-League all-stars for crying out loud. Jennings will be a star, anyways. He needs to be an attack first guard though, I think thats a major factor for someone like him.

Derrick Rose vs Brandon Jennings

Derrick Rose is playing through a bad ankle right now that's why he can't really utilize his speed as of the moment... Jennings did have a better statline but Derrick Rose had the last laugh by blocking Jennings' shot towards the end... If Rose's ankle was 100% OK, we would have seen a better performance off of Derrick Rose... and YES, I will use that injury as an excuse on why Derrick is having trouble and is off to a slow start byfar...

According to quincey hodges

According to quincey hodges and beanz... Derrick Rose's ankle injury is just an excuse and not really a big deal... Wasn't a factor at all. According to them Rose was 100%, but Jennings is just the quicker player and outplayed him. Ridiculous.

Oh and beanz said Rose's

Oh and beanz said Rose's game winning block didn't matter because it wasn't he who was responsible for the win.. It was Deng.

That's Bull

I, as a Bulls fan, will always side on hometown hero D-Rose... Don't worry, beanz is one of the guys whose opinion I really could care less for... Deng did a wonderful job with his 20-20 performance... Huh? The Rose block wasn't the game winner? Then what was that? A fluke?

I guarandamntee that when Derrick is healthy, he's gonna cream Brandon Jennings... He's playing with a bad ankle and still had a 16 pt, 5 ast and 2 reb output... Not to mention the game-saving block against BJ... Wew! Jennings stat were better but in terms of who got W, it's the Bulls, baby!

Rose's ankle is starting to

Rose's ankle is starting to look like a lingering issue. He had the same problem last summer.

Yeah

But he was OK once the season started, right now, he's playing through it and he's not the same as last year so far... I'll give him time... We'll see him get back into his form...

I agree infinity percent. I

I agree infinity percent. I guess since Rose isn't the "new/hot rookie" in the NBA anymore, beanz has forgotten just how good he is. I guess it's "out of sight, out of mind". That's why I told him to wait until the mid-point of the season when Rose is 100% healthy. Beanz said that didn't matter. Ridiculous. Thing is, quincey hodges agreed. Ridiculous.

I'ma firm believer of Derrick

I'ma firm believer of Derrick... And to see him play through a high ankle sprain amazes me even more, heck, I couldn't even get out of bed trying to play through an ankle sprain and usually I would lose my touch if I have pain... Derrick is a warrior and he wants to prove that. The thing that you don't see in stats is Derrick's calm and quiet leadership which makes him a much valuable asset for the Bulls in the coming years... He didn't play that bad against the Bucks, I mean, look, 16 and 5 and to think that he exploded all of a sudden in the 4th was amazing in my eyes...

I guess quincey and beanz

I guess quincey and beanz have never had a severe high ankle sprain (I read that it was the tendon behind the bone or something) and tried to play ball.

Not only did Rose not play bad, he stepped up when the game mattered ON DEFENSE and sealed the W by BATING (<--Old school right there) Jennings' weak *bleep* out of there lol.

Rose is still better

Rose is still better but this just proves to everyone that Jennings is also the future...its funny how everyone was excited about Jennings until he went overseas and had a rough time...no1 notices theres a big difference to the game in Europe than it is over here in america/nba

Yeah

The reason of Jennings drop is because his draft stock was so low in Europe... Europe ball is TOTALLY based on team-concept that's why you rarely see guys averaging 30-32 ppg in Euroleague because their teamwork is that exceptional compared to a much more "individualized" NBA... Jennings is more of an NBA player than a Euro one but that one year in Euro helped him a lot on how to deal people on a professional level despite the fact that this kid has that cockiness in which I'm not really sold upon.

I don't normally hit users in this site out but I'm just ticked at how people say ridiculous things on something that has already been proven... Derrick Rose is the real deal and no matter how good Brandon Jennings was in that game, they still lose... PERIOD... Beanz is probably the type of guy that would take Darko Milicic as the 1st pick overall in the 2003 NBA Draft instead of LeBron or Wade, a guy that would trade Kobe for Ben Gordon and the kind of guy that would give Jared Jeffries an $11Million Dollar contract IF he would be a GM... LOL

no one said jennings a was

no one said jennings a was better just said roe got out played..most nba players arent 100percent when they play..if you play you dont make excuses its that simple..rose is a player and you wont see him make excuses just like you wont see kobe making it for the flu or a bad a finger or jordan or any of the other great players...rose got out played deal wit it and stop being his mommy. we can say if all day but what happened happened..does that make jennings better no. rose is healthy enough to blow by people(which he did) dunk(which he did) and the game before that he took off (on the bad ankle) and cocked the ball back and was about to bang on someone. so yeah its not 100 percent but he still played and still had 16 points and got into the lane...if the ankle was a real big problem he wouldnt have been able to play

then ya'll act like rose has

then ya'll act like rose has been known for his defense..ya'll forget hes not a good defender either so jennings scoring like he did wasnt really a big suprise especially since some of jennings point werent alot of drives where rose would have to use his ankles..it was from nice lil midrange, three point shots mixed with nice cross overs and a couple drives..plus i dont think anyone said he had a bad game..just the people who cant ever admit that there player can ever get out played..happens to ever player deal wit it...when my team(lakers) lose and kobe gets out played when hes hurt you will NEVER see me say "oh it only happened because he was hurt" cuz i know as a player if youre out there playing u have no excuses ..especially if while you are out there youre scoring and dunking getting steal and blocking shots...its funny how so many people do that with there team like i said..theres no excuse when a player plays well or out plays someone but as soon as someone out plays them theres a bunch of excuses...you dont see me saying "well jennings said get those weak handle out of here when he picked his pocket or cause him to turn the ball over 5 different times"..really some of ya'll need to become fans of basketball not just fans of a player or team and think they can do no wrong but i have a feeling everytime some one out plays rose its gonna be" oh his ankle"..but do what ya'll do to make youre selfs feel better..but no matter how hurt a laker is you wont see me make ANY excuse for one of them getting out played....like any coach will tell you "if you are injured you cant play, if you are hurt you can play and i dont wanna hear any excuses"..back in the 80' players played with broken bones and made no excuses...i cant blame derrick though cuz he isnt making any excuses and is tough..its some of his fans that are the one wit the excuses

I like someone said..Rose is

I like someone said..Rose is better, Jennings also prove to be "future"...That's all what i can say about this game

however i knew this year PGs is so so deep but no one looked great thought it will be with new generation of PGs (big athletic fast do it all) with Rose Westbrook last year Wall next year and lots of pgs good but not enough to be in discussion.... so still suprised with Jennings game not because he is stud, but with that someone even start Rose vs Jennings discussion..however Bucks in really not good team, but that no matters, Durant starts his career with the same way and now they are looking for the playoffs

there is no new age of

there is no new age of pg..we had this topic months ago and went to the draft measurments..there have been a couple of pgs that were 6'2-6'4 that were quick and could jump...they werent as good but they were still strong and tall..it been the norm for awhile now..new age pg would be magic johnson type size or taller..cuz penny, shaun livingston, was taller then the pg of today..there were others also including antonio daniels who is taller then both of them..actually these young new point guards are still in the shorter range at 6'2-6'3
