I disagree Sup, Memphis doesn't have the greatest bench and with Darrell Arthur out and Warrick gone that hurts it even more, on paper they have a very good top 6, but on paper, I'd put quite a few teams ahead of Memphis.

did anyone read the whole article...cuz iverson did make sense..he said if the team is losing then what sense doesnt it make to come off the bench when he is not a bench player?...he always said he has no problem with it if the team is winning...makes it a lil different now doesnt it...the clippers had the same case when they kkept eric gordan comming off the bench when they were losing then decided to start him....i think it makes sense to put the best players out there if youre team is losing with the players you always put out there

Iverson said himself that he didn't mind coming off the bench before Memphis signed him and during the press conference. He said he was there to provide leadership, make his teammates better and blah, blah blah... Now after one game... ONE GAME... ONE LOSS he's already complaining...

Quincey... Stop comparing this to the Eric Gordon situation. Gordon didn't play until players went down with injuries and then were eventually traded. Plus Gordon was YOUNG and on a losing team. Going with the youth movement made sense.

i just used gordan as an example because if they would have played him earlier i think they would have won more games....and i dont see what the porblem with what he said about being on the bench if the team is losing ..though he should have kept it too his self...

When they had iverson on the court last night with Mayo, they moved mayo over to the pg spot and it looked just as promising as with mayo at the sg spot. Conley might be the one losing his minutes. But Iverson does need to be quiet for at least a week or two before he complains after one game. As for his defense, no one on that team hardly plays defense so you can't really single out iverson for that. And joewolf made a good point, the grizz have a good top 6, but after that the team is awful. Zero bench. When Randolph fouled out and they brought Carrol in it was like night and day. And thabeet aint ready either.
