brandon jenning
It's too early he only played like what 2-3 games i understand when you see him playing and almost getting a triple double on his DEBUT. My prediction for R.O.Y is De' Juan Blair because this guy is a monster i know it's early but it's my prediction and he can rebound on the NBA level even though he's 6'6" but he's as beast and looks like he could be off the bench but at least he's productive and very dangerous as Jennings.
you're right but got to look in the NBA.
You average 15 ppg overseas you average 22 ppg in the NBA because overseas there is tougher defense and physical so which it makes it tougher but in the NBA isn't that tough which there is an advantage.
it impossible to predict 20/5/5 only Big O , MJ and LeBron did it in first year, Jennings wont get it but who knows maybe Rose type of year. it would be amazing, but i see it, he looks 10times more ready than most of people thought..there is still lots of chances that he is potential guy but not ready now, and he will bring around 10/2/5 but playing in Milwaukee and get Skiles big love(big suprise) he has chances to show his carrer start isn't just big luck
Yeah, Jennings has put on a show early on, but Jason Williams had a triple double in one of his first couple games too. I love Blair and his game, but I think he is a long shot for ROY. He still plays for the Spurs and it's gonna be tough for him to average more than 25 mpg on the season. His productivity will, in my opinion, be great considering minutes, but it's going to be hard for him to compete stat wise with guys getting 30+ minutes a night. I like Jennings right now, but if Blake Griffin can come back from his injury quickly I think he could be in the running and don't sleep on Terrance Williams and Steph Curry, I think they could be a dark horses.
how can you say its too early and its only been about 2-3 games when he said jennings but then turn around and say you think blair is gonna get it and is a beast?..if its too earl to predict jennings then wouldnt it be too earl to predict blair too?
Yeah, but I read Rambis is really big on Sessions handle on the triangle offense. I like Flynn a lot as a player don't get me wrong, but I think Sessions is going to get more minutes until Flynn proves himself more. Curry's steals numbers are going to be really high too I think which will help his cause.
Yeah, I hear you, he showed glimpes of being a better scorer than I thought he'd be right away. I read this on insider though. I was kinda surprised.
Yesterday we noted Kurt Rambis decided to play his backup point guard, Ramon Sessions, more than starter Jonny Flynn in Sunday night's game. After it, he praised Sessions' handling of the triangle offense.
Last night in a loss to the Clippers, Flynn got the start, but Sessions played more minutes (26 to Flynn's 22) and played during crunch time in the fourth quarter.
"He's been in the league," Rambis told the Minneapolis Star Tribune about Sessions. "He understands what his role is, what the job is. When things go awry out ther eon the floor, he knows if he does a good job of getting us organized and playing together, he'll get time. He's figured that out."
Flynn appears to be playing through some rookie growing pains -- Rambis is not letting him play off the pick-and-roll, something he thrived at during his time at Syracuse -- so if he can adapt to what Rambis wants, the Wolves might find themselves with two more-than-capable point guards.
and that overseas comment isnt true.me and my brother as well as friends have played overseas..i never played in the nba but some of them have..you dont average alot of points overseas because the game is more of a team game not because the defense is so great..they concentrate on looking to pass first and shoot second.
talent wise blake could be but i dont see him getting it because of all the other scorers on the clippers. gordan will get his points..b-diddy will get his points and kaman has been killing....i just dont think blake woul dbe able to put up rookie of the year numbers unless he gets about 15reb a game
i think alot of team will wish they picked jennings(warriors, knicks, kings). teams looked over him because of his stats overseas. he was a kid and the coach didnt play him alot because they knew he would be gone in a year. i think he is the second best player by position in this class behind b.griffin they both play their position the right way. jennings also will be top 5 in steals this year
they didnt play him alot because they knew they could win just as well with him comming off the bench plusthey knew he didnt have the grasp of the european game..if he had the grasp and he coul dbe the deciding fator of them winning then they would have played him..in europe alo tof players sign only one year contracts so teams already know they wont be there long but if they can win them games and they know how to play the euro game then they will play them alot
if we take Griffin in discussion i have Tyreke and now Jennings as a CONTENDERS, but i have Blake as a WINNER. i have different opinion for me Kaman's game is just good for Blake , Kaman will get less touches when he will back and Blake is fast and handle he will get ball not even under the basket but next to three point line and he will come on fast break alot, only thing now i don't like is Gordon's 12FGA he wants 15-17, and when i see Kaman, Camby combining around 25fga, I think Blake will be better scorer then i thought( I predict ~14ppg in offseason)
Don't be so sure...he is NUMBER ONE PICK, their future, like...before Rose in CHicago Hinrich was 15/6 or something guy, so qiute similar like Derrick last year, but he was forgotten when there comes Rose
yeah he is there future..key word being future...in chi town ben gordan was the number one option on offense and rose got to handle the ball ..blake has to wait for someone to get him the ball..they have better offense of options right now in kaman gordan and davis ..it would be different if blake was the pg then he could decide when hes gonna shoot and when hes gonna pass...15/6 is good but dont you think jennings will get at least 15 and 6ast and probably 4 reb since he doesnt have as many options on his team as well as him handling the ball
I've said it since the first day I came to this site and I'll say it 'til I'm gone: Brandon Jennings will be the best player from this draft when it's all said and done. It's still way early to start calling ROY or anything, but this kid has a special quality that all the great ones have.
Jennings will get the minutes and will be in the running for ROY. Blair will not get the minutes to be in that runnings. also Skiles is normally hard on his points yet likes Jennings because Jenning can run a team and play defense.
Just wait..i think it's the same way like Kaman's 17+12 season 2yrs ago and when Brand was in the game Kaman was nothing like that player. I see it once again.
so still big 3 Ifs but IF Blake get touches, Tyreke start just to play his basketball, and Jennings stays comfortable everytime , we will have a battle
yeah but brand didnt also have to contend with ggordan and davis and brand wasnt a rookie he was more polished..blakes not as good yet as brand was at that point in his career
when Brand came from injury two years ago he wasn't that good like before it..
Blake looks grown man, he isn't that complete but he is faster, more athletic, brings lots of.......it makes him very good player, i saw it in preseason that he is ready to be ROY and just big time surprises like Jennings could stop him
Redd is out for a lil bit now, besides Bogut no one is a proven scorer. Jennings will have a big year, he does have a lot of To's so far but its still early he hasn't gone against a veteran pg yet even.
isnt stucky a vet?..and a pretty good defender..the no proven scorer things make his assists that much more impressive..plus hes scoring against teams not just one on one wit the other pg
huh..that doesnt make much sense..hes good reguadless if there is a scorer next to him or not..that shows how good he is if hes the only scoring option down low..big men dont have to worry about any one else..and hes better then blake right now so he will get more touches..the man is playing like a allstar this year and you know baron and gordan is gonna get there touchs..blake is gonna come in as a fourth scoring option....and dont forget thortan likes to get his shots as well

have anyone see this boy play i was going crazy when he was playing the pistons i think
he has a great chance at The R.o.y. Award ,rite now he playing like the bucks best player and he might be
