Agent: Wade Will Be Hardest Free Agent To Retain

Oct 27, 2009 4:13 PM EST
A veteran NBA agent believes that Dwyane Wade will be the hardest of next summer's unrestricted free agents to retain.

Wade, along with LeBron James and Chris Bosh, could all be unrestricted free agents after the 2009-10 season if they don't take their player options for the 2010-11 season.

"I think D-Wade will be the toughest to retain of the high-profile free agents," the agent told the South Florida Sun-Sentinel. "I just get the sense that he envies his buddy in Cleveland who has a better team around him."

wade

I think miami could excite wade with some midseason trades! perhapes boozer, would wade be mad seeing beasley and haslem go. i actually think in the long run bad trade for miami! but would this make wade happy is the question.

This agent

He's talking way too much about 2010, the trade deadline is still almost 5 months away too.
Not sure where he's going besides Chicago and I don't think Rose with him is a good fit.
He'll probably end up resigning just wants the Heat to get him some more talent around him.

Where else would he go Houston, Memphis, L.A., Chicago, Knicks, New Jersey, Oklahoma City, Phoenix, Sacramento.

Most likely its between Chicago, NY, NJ and Miami.

Last year in playoffs

Last year in playoffs against the hawks lebron scored 47 pts 12 rebs 8 assits so josh played some good d their, and 34 10 another game, might stop him from getting 50 but still not from completely dominating

Yes they are probably the

Yes they are probably the top 2 sf defenders in the league but with lebron and people like kobe the oonly ones stopping them from getting 50 is themselves, very rarely will anyone player guard them the entire game and when u double team them they make u pay with a dime

I believe there are certain

I believe there are certain players in the league that if they put their mind to it could get 50 against anyone. Wade, Kobe, Lebron are the only certainties, but Nowitzki, Carmelo, Arenas and this year Durant can all go off.

Wade

Oh yeah, were talking about him. That is a steaming pile of crap, Bosh is way harder to keep then Wade.
Where would he go? They have done him no wrong, won him a ship, assembled a steady playoff team with the exception of 1 year, which he didnt even play most of. They have a max contract coming off the books this offseason, so they could bring in whoever he want. Wade is a championship quality player and he is just flexing nuts right now, which is the smart move, because they will give him what he wants. I think he wanted Boozer, but Pat Riley isn't stupid. The oneee really bad scenario would be if Riley left, Wade might go with him somewhere.

Forget Lebron for a nano second.

We need to nip crap like this in the bud, because thats the start of all this media crap, and everybody freaks out, makes it worse. So then it ends up hapening.

If anybody can name 1 scenario that looks better for Wade in 2010 then warm ass Miami with a maximum salaries worth of useful players non named Jermaine O Neal, im waiting to hear.
