Patty Mills a Free Agent?

A source close to Patrick Mills informed NBADraft.net late Tuesday that Mills will most likely be waived by the Trailblazers this Friday so that they can sign Nigerian and former Spurs defensive standout Ime Udoka.
That means Mills, who is rehabbing in Oakland right now, would become a free agent.
Mills suffered a broken wrist which took him out of action for the majority of his junior season damaging his draft stock. Mills was dissapointed when he slipped into the second round of the 2009 draft and then suffered a broken bone in his foot just before the NBA summer league.
Mills has not considered playing overseas, solely looking to make it in the NBA but his string of injuries could make his dream difficult in the short term.
Mills would make an interesting pick up for teams that could be looking for point guard depth.

I didn't think him leaving school early was a good move even before his injury. Needs to become more of a "pure" point guard.
