Are we talking about being

Are we talking about being able to shoot off the dribble, spotting up, 3-point, mid-range or just a combination of everything lol?

if you are combining all

if you are combining all type of shots, then Dirk and Okur both really stand out to me because they can shoot off one foot or fading a little from differnet angles. If it is just a wide open feet set 3 pointer, then Steve Novak might be the best in the game.

Kevin G can shoot from

Kevin G can shoot from anywhere inside the arc, shoots like 80% from the ft line and has one of the nices and most unblockable fadeaway in the game

Yep... KG doesn't shoot

Yep... KG doesn't shoot 3-pointers, but I think he's one of the best mid-range and fadeaway shooting big men in the game.

HMMMM

PAST: My list would be:
1. Larry Bird- clearly one of the greatest shooters and clutch players in history\
2. Arvydas Sabonis- a 7'3 Center that will kill you at the 3-point area? damn!
3. Toni Kukoc- my favorite Croatian of all-time, a 6'10 panther with a great left-handed stroke...
4. Sam Perkins- a 6'11 player that can hit the 3...
5. Bill Laimbeer- Hate him so much... but gotta admit that he has a good mid-range stroke

PRESENT: My list would be:
1. Dirk Nowitzki- the best 7 foot shooter ever... enough said.
2. Mehmet Okur- Mehmo has provided Jazz fans with tons of clutch baskets using his shooting
3. Kevin Garnett- almost automatic on top of the key... His long arms makes it hard for the defender to block him...
4. Andrea Bargnani- If he remains consistent and continues to improve, he might be higher than this.
5. Troy Murphy- Surprises me with how quick his release is...

going old school on this one, Bob Macadoo or however you spell it haha

as for right now, tough to argue with Dirk being the best in the game.
