Aiight, who got the best cook game in the league.
After some thought, I have to say Deron Williams.
After y'all posts, we can get into details
B Davis or Rose(maybe)
he has killers crossover
Been following Jennings since 8th grade, he's my fav player, but he didn't do nothing in the league yet.
he didn't do nothing, but we know how good he handle the ball and we know that he is in Milwaukee as a NBA player already, so why i can't put him in my top
Chris Paul has to be top 5.He has CRAZY handles.
i say CP3 is number 1 but D-Will is a good choice here as well so he is #2
wade, crawford and maybe rose could round up the top5...
to jennings: i don´t put him in because he hasn´t played a single regular season game and i first wanna see how he does on nba level. but i must say his highlight viedeos from high school look amazing and he could lead this category one day but HS and NBA are different worlds so lets wait what hes really capable of...
by the way jennings played good in the summer league but im still not sure about him...
by the way anyone thought of kobe?
kobe has a good handle as well only he doesn´t look that spectacular
1. Jamal Crawford
2. Brandon Jennings
3. Chris Paul
4. Deron Williams
5. Derrick Rose
Jason Williams anybody? And Alston could be number 1 on this list if he wanted to.
Crawford is nasty .
nash??? quit hatin on white boys. Also, Crawford has a dirty handle
5. Sebastian Telfair
telfair, well done :)
dwade won the skills challenge 2 years in a row so hes up there
alston played for and1
there are loads of great dribblers i cant choose 5
I think were missing devin harris in the conversation, that behind the legs reverse step back is one of the best moves in the game http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3vqHc05xs4U
Top 5 RIGHT NOW
Iverson would easily dominate this category a few years back.
Yes he is older, but you don't lose handle with age
top 5, no order
Yeah when you get older you lose quickness, and you can have a good handle but if your slow your not going anywhere, why do u think all the people people are listing are in the upper tier of speed and quickness
^100% agree. If your not explosive, it does you little to no good to have a good handle.
Exactly u can have the tightest handle but if you have no speed it's really no good
And Fam T-mac got game, but he aint known for shiftin dudes, c'mon be 4real.
just curious, is "cook game" known as ball handling these days? I know I'm an ancient 28, but I have never heard that expression before.
haha yeah im only 18 and know most basketball terminology and have never ever heard that expression before when referring to dribbling
I mean, I've balled my whole life against all sorts of competition and that is a new one. But since everybody seems to have heard it, maybe I just missed out on it or it never made it's way out here to california.
nope they don't use that anymore and im 16 in H.S., and people who said A.I. still isnt in the upper tier in terms of speed????? all I said is you dont lose handle with age and you don't i mentioned nothing about speed, and a crossover can le left right not always, up and down to the rim
Yea I was thinking the same thing...cook game? Thats a new one..
Well I coined the phrase a couple months back while playing 2k9.
It's pretty simple.
"crossed em'"= "shook em"= "baked em" =
I'm 28 too, tired of the same old basketball phrases, but if y'all think it's wack, we can dead it. I wanted to know how my fellow NBA'ers thought about it.
how can you forget skip to my lou?
Rafer Alston doesnt play with "handles"....if that makes any sense
Im sure if he wanted to he could easily be #1 on everybodys list
A.I. (Slower? Yes..............Still Faster than half the PGs in this league? Yes)
If Dwyane Wade isn't On Your Top 5 Something Is Seriously Wrong With You......
tyreke evans will probably do something. he has pretty nice handles
it's ight, it could stay
How about LeBro....aw... wait... The Crab Dribble... my bad... I'll put him off...LOL
Deron Williams, CP3, Derrick Rose all these guys have good handles not to mention Dwyane Wade
