Do you think anyone from the Pac 10 will go in first round next year?

I've been following the Pac 10 for about 15 years, and this coming season looks like the least talent I've ever seen it have. I'm sure it is just a down year due primarily to the number of players who have been leaving early. Currently this site has only two players from the confrence getting drafted next year, Patrick Cristopher from Cal at 35 and Dwight Lewis from USC at 58.

When it is all said and done, do you think anyone from the confrence ends up going in the first round next year?

Depends. I have UCLA as a Final Four Sleeper so depending on how the season shapes out, maybe Malcolm Lee.

Maaaaayyyybbbeee...the only guys I think have a chance are Christopher and Isaiah Thomas. Christopher seems like a 2nd round guy though. He has his rough spots, but he's an NBA guy in some way. Probably like a bench scorer...maybe Isaiah Thomas too. He has lottry talent but his size for a 2-guard (he's not a true PG really) is tricky. I think he'll be a 1st rounder, but probably in 2011. 2011 is going to be the real year for the conference...

My Pac 10 sleeper

Nobody talks about this guy because he is a transfer, but I think will definately be drafted in the next 2 years. Alex Stepheson of USC, a North Carolina transfer. He will be better than Taj GIbson. He was a defensive monster and good shotblocker, but was a little rough back in the day. He is unbelievably ripped, keeps himself in crazy shape. He had a redshirt year to get his offensive repetoire together, and he will be very nasty in the pac 10. He's a solid 6-9, 235 with long arms. I think he is a much upgraded version of Jeff Pendergraph.

stepheson will be good. He

stepheson will be good. He will get plenty of opportunity at USC. Here are the guys who could be first rounders next year:

Patrick Cristopher-good sg with nice size and an excellent pull up jumper.

Isiah Thomas-I doubt his stock will rise throughout his college career because the only thing really holding him back is his height and lack of natural pg skills. But since he probably won't get taller and Gaddy is the pg, Thomas might come out next year if he thinks he is a first rounder.

Malcolm Lee-Probably won't come out next year, but his potential is high and he will be able to be top 20 if he plays to expectations.

Nic Wise, Jerome Randle, and Dwight Lewis would all have to have break out years, but they are on the radar for next year.
