The 76ers have agreed to terms with forward Rodney Carney

The 76ers have agreed to terms with forward Rodney Carney, this according to a source familiar with the situation. Carney, 6-foot-7, has agreed to a 1-year deal. Previously, Carney spent two seasons with the Sixers: 2006-07, 2007-08. In July of 2008, Carney was traded to the Minnesota Timberwolves, where he played last season.

WOW!!!!! Thats big to me,

WOW!!!!! Thats big to me, probably not to anyone thats not a 76ers fan. We basically got rid of him to get Brand, and now we have him back. I he should play, we needed athleticism for our 2nd team on the wing anyway.

I know Rodney (he's from

I know Rodney (he's from Indianapolis) and it's good to see him return to the team that drafted him. He'll be a nice/athletic backup on the wing... Just don't ask him to create his on offense off the dribble!

No doubt

He is a spot up shooter or a finisher in trasition. Alright defender cause of long arms.

Good add. Great athlete with

Good add. Great athlete with an improving all around game. With more minutes he should be a productive guy, maybe as the 6th man.

Good Pickup

Good pickup, especially this late in free agency. I think they should have considered making a move for Felton though. I don't think he was on their radar and I know they didn't want to go over the cap, but I think he would have fit in well.
