Juwan Howard Could End Up In Portland

Sep 05, 2009 10:29 AM EST
Juwan Howard isn't expected to return to the Bobcats this season.

The Charlotte Observer writes that Howard could end up with the Trail Blazers, who have a much better shot at making the postseason.

adding howard wouldnt hurt the blazers at all. they get a big man whos a veteran , and can still knock down shots if needed.

Source: Wade More Likely To Leave Than LeBron

Sep 05, 2009 8:15 PM EST
An NBA front office source believes that Dwyane Wade is more likely to change addresses than LeBron James.

Both players are expected to hit the free agent market next summer.

"Maybe Dwyane [Wade] leaves, but I don't think anybody believes LeBron leaves Cleveland," the source told CBS Sports. "They're spending $100 million trying to win a title for the guy."

The same source believes that Amar'e Stoudemire will be more coveted on the market than Chris Bosh.

"If you're starting a team tomorrow, I'm not sure how many people pick Bosh over Amar'e. Other than that, there's nobody who's his equal on the free-agent market and I think he knows that."

the heat better tighten up or unless they wanna see wade in a bulls uniform.

I agree what does Bosh have

I agree what does Bosh have on Amare? Nothing at all, plus Amare is just as good of a shooter, and can also finish at the rim way better, he's just better, simple as that.

As for Wade and LeBron, Anything is possible and everything is wide open.

Change of address

I am an avid believer in the theory that Dwayne Wade returns to Chicago. I have said it and I will say it again. A backcourt that features Derrick Rose and Dwayne Wade will be ridiculous! I really do believe that Wade will be in a Bulls uniforn next year. I know that there are a lot of NBA Players that would prefer Miami weather rather than Chicago's weather. But Dwayne Wade has lived here his whole life. I believe that his mother still lives in the southern suburbs of Chicago. Dwayne Wade also just purchased some more property in Chicago right outside of downtown. If he was planning to stay in Miami that wouldn't be a smart decision of real estate I am just saying. D-Rose & D-Wade...

i think the way only way

wade stays in miami. is riley trades for boozer or bring in someone to help wade and they make the playoffs.
if none of this happens you can kiss wade goodbye.

i cant stand

amare . and hes from my hometown. dont get me wrong i think hes a good player and all. but i rather take bosh. a least hes commited to playing defense, and hes less injury prone. amare does have the better offense game but thats it.

I think Wade would love to

I think Wade would love to return to Miami, but they are being really dumb. The Marion for O'Neal trade was horrible. Marion would have already been off the books, and instead they are paying O'neal 21 million next year for him to be average. DUmb, Dumb, Dumb. And I had said that when they made the deal. The heat will miss the playoffs and are putting all their dependency into signing a superstar next year and bringing Wade back.

I take Amare over Bosh. I've just never been a Bosh fan. When my team plays Toronto, I've never found myself thinking, 'gee I hope Bosh doesn't kill us tonight'. Bosh has better stats then his actual impact on the game which isn't that great. As much as Amare sucks at the defensive end, he can lead a team offensively.

IIperez, i think you have a

IIperez, i think you have a point that Amar'e probably strikes more fear into the heart of the opposition, but let's be honest; Bosh is an excellent big man. In the current NBA he must be in the top 5 of Power Forwards. Maybe it's because Amar'e is more flashy and exciting, but personally, i think Bosh is on a par with him. Especially with his good defence and lack of injuries.
