ESPN: Where will they go?
According to the ESPN consensus
Lebron stays in Cleveland
Wade stays in Miami
Bosh jets for the big apple
and Amare too
Thoughts? Disagree? Agree?
a'mare and bosh wont work in ny. they play the same position, neither is a potent center and a'mare wants to be "the guy".
They aren't saying that the knicks get both, they are basically saying they will most likely get one. It was based one 53 writers opinion and 18 thought it would be bosh going to new york and 13 DIFFERENT writers said Amare.
Nobody has even talked about this but one vote was LeBron to the Celtics??? If they completely fail this year... is it not all that unreasonable?
why would amare be a potent center...didnt he play center and make the all star team in phx?..how much more would he have to produce to be considered a potent center?..esspecially these days where centers are pretty average
Amare should never be asked to play center. I can see why teams use him there when they go small. But he is one of the worst defensive bigs in the league. Him playing center would lead to that team getting killed in the paint. He'll get his on offense, but go back and see how he does defensively against legit centers. He get's killed, plus he doesn't rotate worth a darn on defense to help on the drive.
which is what is gonna happen in ny any way since d'antoni is coaching there. though i do agree he shouldnt be playing center. unless hes playing next to a defensive powerfoard liek a otis thorpe for those who remeber him
Otis was the man. He had hands so big he made the ball look like a grapefruit.
What kind of grapefruit?
the best kind
They can trade Dampier, a solid young guy (Beaubois) and a few picks for a superstar (in a S&T of course). Then a team can cut Damp immediately for cap relief (his contract is unguarenteed). And the superstar can still make the same ammount of money he'd make if he resigned with his own team. If theres anyone who will get this done, its mark cuban. They will go after Wade, than Bosh, than whoever they value the most of all the other f.a.s
I think Lebron stays in Cleveland.
Wade's possibilities: Chicago, Dallas, and Miami in that order..
Bosh is likely to stay, but I wouldn't be shocked to see him leave for Dallas.
