Eric Gordon

Was a huge fan of him in Indiana....Not sure what I think about his game in the pros...Where do you guys see him...I see him as being a good scorer probably a tier or two behind Westbrook and Mayo..I love his athleticism but I doubt he will be as good as i thought he was going to be

9 out of 10 people would say he is a Ben Gordon.

If he really develops, the best he could be is like a Arenas or a Mitchmond...

Yea, Mitch Richmond (in his

Yea, Mitch Richmond (in his prime) is him (and OJ Mayo's) ceiling as players. Gordon reminds me of Richmond more so than Mayo does though.

I can kinda see the Richmond

I can kinda see the Richmond comparison, but that would be a best case scenario for him I think. He looks like he could be a real stud, but he needs to improve his ball handling.

Oj Mayo could be Kobe like IMO.

Gordon can be a Dennis Johnson type player in his prime

hes not going to be a stud.

hes not going to be a stud. hes going to be a solid player in the league for a long time. I doubt he'll ever make the allstar team or anything like that but hes going to be a very solid player

Mayo isnt the athlete nor

Mayo isnt the athlete nor does he have the size of Kobe. The reason Kobe gets off the contested shots he does has alot to go with his height. Mayo would never get off the contested shots Kobe does at his size. He will be a great, all-star caliber player though in the future.

Eric Gordan is one of my

Eric Gordan is one of my favourtie players, he'll be a real scoring good scoring option in the league for many years. He has unlimited range and will continue to build upon his 39% shooting from three now that hes more comfortable and that blake will open it up for him, He is able to score in bunches and can blow past any defender when he puts his mind to it, (was the best athlete at the combine.) He can become an all star, he needs to tighten his ball handling, become more of a play maker which i know he could do, Hes of a thicker build then pretty much every guard which he can use to his advantage on the defense end.

You're on point. In my opinion, he has a chance to be an All-Star a few times during his career. I also like his game a lot more than I do Mayo's and especially Westbrook's. To become an All-Star, he'll need to tighten his ball handling and increase his rebounding/assists numbers. He's an underrated defender. He just needs to work on the little things and be more tenacious. One thing to note is that he trains some with Kobe over the summer, so that's got to help his improvement too. When it's all said and done, he'll be considered a top five player from the 2007 class.

Gordon

I wouldn't go as far to say he is an underrated defender. Gordon has quick hands, which result in decent steals and deflection numbers, but his defensive fundamentals need some work too. I'd love to see Eric Gordon evolve into more than just a scorer, he has the potential to be a very good defender as well.

iggy how you figure mayo

iggy how you figure mayo isnt the athlete..his foot speed is very quick..he has a 40inch vert and any other athletic test you can think off he scores very high. the problem is he just doesnt drive much he relies alot on pull up jumpers or spot ups. mayo gets off any shot he wants even though he is only 2 inches shorter then kobe and actually the same height as ray allen( who gets off his shot pretty easily at 6'5)

Lets be honest though, OJ

Lets be honest though, OJ Mayo is not the athlete Kobe Bryant is.Sure he has a 41 inch vertical, but he isnt very quick. He doesnt have the best 1st step and he isnt the best at getting to the rim, which leads me to believe that even though he can jump high, he isnt a great athlete. We had this discussion yesterday, just because you jump high it doesnt make you a good or great athlete. Mayo just isnt the kind of guy that can reach top speed quickly or stop and start without losing much acceleration. That is the measure of a good or bad athlete.

he actually has a pretty

he actually has a pretty good first step and is quick he just doesnt go to the whole much so you dont see it much...there was a game i saw where it clicked and he was hitting jumpers as well as going to the hole..finishing wit and ones and dunked twice on 2 people going down th lane. just because a player doesnt show it doesnt mean they cant do it especially young ones..we should probably go ahead and say a.randolph is soft and cant do many things since he didnt do it last year when he played
