Does he fit in well for the Princeton Offense in Philly now?
Iguodala really is on this site???
No, lol..its a user thats name is Iguodala, big Iguodala fan, watches sixers often..thats what he meant
wow i got all amped too
No, Im not really Andre Iguodala. But I dont think Thaddeus Young fits in as a passer and cutter in the Princeton offense, but he will function well as a pseudo-post player/mid range spot up shooter. He will play the exact same role Antwaan Jamison played in Washington, and they have very similar games with Jamison being a better long range shooter. He would be a decent fit because Jordan will give him the Jamison role.
Yea I agree that is a good comparison... What kind of center fits in best for the princeton offense? I think Sam is a perfect fit for this team but he is such a head case. I really like Jason Smith but I don't know how he is as a defender.
Would Young be the 2nd ballhander to Williams?
I'd actually say Iguodala, Youngs ball-handling is okay. Iguodala is a point-forward, more cause of his passing ability
Dalembert is alot like Brendan Haywood, and I dont think I really like that lol. I really dont like Dalembert as a player, he makes alot of stupid plays and like Ive said before, the day he gets traded is the day I will become a very happy man. I want Smith out there this year, he is alot more talented than Sammie D on Obecause shows a nice jumper in the post and his range is out to the NBA 3, and as soon as he gets stronger and learns not to fall asleep in helpside he will be an above average starter in the NBA.
Thaddeus Young is a poor ball-handler IMO, I have never seen him break anyone down off the bounce or make any drives to the basket that weren't in a straight line. He should never be a primary ball handler, and on top of that he's a bad passer.
Off Topic but I had to poke some fun at you, Iguodala9...
Randomly browsing the forums today..
and I thought your second post in this topic was hilarious...
Hurts me too my soul to this day lol..
whoever drafts jrue holiday will be REAL disapointed
hahahah yep and we end up getting him
I think he was a steal at 17....
Yea he's the future... He's just not the present, but we'll have to be patient
How can you think that? He did nothing in college, at all. And he played poorly at the SL, the 2 highest levels he played at have been disappointments. Jrue Holiday was the most overrated player in the 09 draft. Easily. He was drafted solely on what he did in HS.
pretty good down the road, but i dont think he deserved that high of a draft pick, but its hard to say he was a complete dissapointed at UCLA. with the exception of kevin love ben howland has the tendency to bread his players not to be one and dones, by doing so he had the ball in collisons and josh shipp's hands almost the whole games and not giving holiday as many oppurtunities to shine. holiday was dissapointing in his own a little too but dont blame it solely on him. just hope he works his ass off in the offseason and takes everything in on the end of the phila bench. hes def a very good talent that just hasnt made the best choices so far and is yet to peak. a work in progress for sure
i think if the fans and the organization sticks behind him it could really pay off in a few years
Can Louis williams handle point?
The Princeton offense doesnt need a true PG, as long as someone on the floor is good as a passer of is good at finding open cutting angles or good at using screens to shoot jumpers, the offense will be fluid and effective. So Lou will have his best season yet I believe.
