No way

Are you guys kidding me. there's about 50 players from the 70s ( the G.O.A.T. Earl Manigult for starters) who would eat there guys for lunch. Heck these guys couldn't hang with Lloyd Daniels. He didn't do much in the NBA, but in high school. Forget it.

Yeah, dude was basically suposed to be Jordan. He was the first big-time high school legend to really flop in the NBA. He had several drug problems coming out of high school, but beacuse of his name recognition he made the NBA. When his problems were finally put behind him, it was too late. There are a millions stories like this. Every year there are a couple, but Daniels was one of the first. And everyone knew about him and his problems and there was no Internet.

Yeah, Fields suffered an injury in a car crash and floated around the CBA. At 6 feet 3, I'm not so sure he would have been in the pros.

Um Kareem-Abdul Jabar was Manigults best friend. Nobody could touch Kareem in high school either.

Let me keep going. What

Let me keep going. What about Connie Hawkins. OMG. It was crazy how the NBA wouldn't let him in until he was about 27 years old. In fact, it was pure racism.

The more I think about it, Manigults mentor was Homcolmbe Rucker, for which Rucker Park is named after.

Guys

I think many of you missed the point of the post as it was poorly communicated. He made a team with players who came to the NBA directly out of high school. So, no, Ronnie Fields, Greg Oden and OJ Mayo would not make the squad. I can not believe that nobody caught on though :)

Moses Malone

Moses Malone went straight from high school to the NBA, 27,409 career points, 16,212 career rebounds. 3 time MVP, NBA Champion and Finals MVP among countless awards 1st teams, and a hall of fame birth,..I'd say he beats out Dwight Howard for the center position by a LANDSLIDE!
