Greatest Duo ?

Magic and Kareem was the greatest duo of all time. Yess Better then Jordan and Pippen. Let me show you why

Magic Reached the All Star 11 times , Kareem was an All-Star 19 Times ( DAMN!!) = 30 Time All stars combined

Jordan reached the All Star 14 Times , Pippen reached the all star game 7 times = 21 Time All Stars Combined

MVP Awards

Magic = 3 time MVP
Kareem = 6 time MVP

Combined 9 MVP awards

Jordan = 5 Time MVP
Pippen = 0 Time MVP

Combined 5 MVP Awards

Combined Points

Kareem & Magic = 56, 094 Points
Jordan & Pippen = 51, 232 points

Difference of 4, 862 points

Championships

Kareem & Magic = 5
Jordan & Pippen = 6

Jordan and pippen might always get the nod for greatest Duo in basketball history, but these magic & kareem might have their number. They were unstoppable during the eighties going to the finals 8 times out of the 10 years and bringing home the trophy 5 times. Magic Johnson was one of the greatest assist men in the game, and Kareem is one of the most efficient scorer of all time.

Jordan and pippen were great, and debatably the greatest duo of all-time. I honestly don't think that, Because my vote goes to Magic & Kareem.

This Is what I think Whats your thoughts?

Jordan/ Pippen

My vote is for Jordan and Pippen. Kareem played 10 years in the league before teaming up with Magic and not to take anything away from Kareem he was in the twilight of his career in the mid to late 80's. Jordan and Pippen played together in their primes and truly dominated the 1990's. James worthy was also the #2 scoring option to Kareem's #3 from atleast 86-88, Jordan and Pippen didn't play with anyone who averaged 20+ and had to pick up more of the scoring slack. Not to take anything away from Magic or Kareem's great careers, but Jordan and Pippen were the driving force behind the greatest dynasty since Boston in the 1960's, Jordan and Pippen also won 6 titles together to Kareem and Magic's 5

Kareem was never a number

Kareem was never a number two option. He was their front runner for getting the ball. He and magic Dominated the eighties. They Went to the finals 8 times in 10 years. Jordan and pippen only went 6 times but won all 6. As far as dominating a decade i say Magic and kareem Dominated Their time better then jordan and pippen.

NO other players !!! You Serious They had enough players that could score shoot and rebound. Paxson, kerr, Kuckoc, Horcace Grant, BJ armstrong, Denis Rodman.......They had a well built team so don't try to throw them under the bus. They were the driving force for sure, but i say magic and kareem had a better decade in the 80's

I go for Magic and Kareem

I go for Magic and Kareem because Jordan and Pippen weren't really a duo it was more of a trio in Jordan, Pippen and Rodman
I also think it was easier for the ChicagoBulls to dominate, because I think the Larry Bird Boston Celtics were stronger than the Barkley Suns and the Malone-Stockton Jazz

Kareem won a title and an

Kareem won a title and an MVP before Magic was in the league, My main argument was that Jordan and Pippen played together and in their primes for most of their careers, and yes Kareem played with Magic for most of his, but Magic with Kareem for only about half. Yes, the Bulls were a well built team, but James Worthy did out score Kareem in 86-87 and 87-88 and so did Byron Scott in 87-88. James Worthy is a hall of famer, Rodman (maybe some day but probably not) Grant, Armstrong, Kukoc, Kerr etc were good pros but not the caliber that Worthy was.

for pure entertainment value

If you could ignore Jason Williams' early career turnovers, and poor judgement Jason Williams and Chris Webber were a fun duo to watch, Williams kinda drove me crazy early in his career by trying to be too And 1, but damn him and Webber had some great highlights

Gary Payton and Shawn Kemp were probably my favorite duo to watch even though they never got a championship together

Maybe Hakeem and the Glide

Hakeem and Clyde Drexler were more of a duo than him and Otis Thorpe
