Best position to the nba

So obviously the nba is loaded with talent but what position is the best? 1 2 3 4 or 5? Let's take a closer look.
PG- The beast(CP3 and DWill), the ttweeners(Nash,Parker) and the young guys(westbrook, harris, rose, rondo)
SG- The beasts(Kobe, Wade), tweeners(Carter, Johnson) young guys(roy, Mayo)
SF- the beasts(Lebron, Durant,Melo) tweeners(Lewis, Granger, Pierce) young guys(Gay)
PF- Beast(Dirk), tweeners(Bosh, Duncan, Gasol, Stoudemire) young guys (Aldridge, Beasley)
C- Beast(Howard) tweeners(Jefferson, Shaq) young guys(Lopez, Gasol,Okafor)
When you look at all the top players I think SF and SG are definitely the best. PF is pretty good as well but there isn't any superstars. PG seem to be set for the future. Thoughts?

Oh gawd.

It's got to be SF...but how'd you forget Durant???
I'd rank in them in order as
SF, SG, PF, PG, and then Centers.
I think Yao, Howard, and Lopez are the real deals...Jefferson can be, but eh.
Okafor and Gasol are average. Shaq is aging.

Small forward

in the nba today, the wing is the most star filled position. id take sf a little more than a c because, dont call me a stat freak, but sf's average a little better per than shooting guards.

Yeah C is definetly the

Yeah C is definetly the weakest..

I'd Rank Them
SF, PG, SG, PF, and then Centers

I guess im going to be the only onewith PG that high, but im just a PG type of guy, i just favor the PG position

But regardless of 'what i like' the SF position is just dominant right now

Well I see it as

SF has their talent.
SG has theirs and PF has a lot of talent at that position.
Dirk, Duncan, Gasol, Aldridge, Bosh, and Stoudemire is enough right there compared to the Point Guard.
Point Guard has CP3, D-Will, and T. Parker...then Nash and the young guys Rose, Rondo, Harris, and Westbrook.
As of right now, PF has dominate players now. Point Guard has a few and then the up and coming.
Shooting Guard has Kobe and D-Wade and anytime Roy is still at the bottom...that's just talent filled.
Just my opinion. Mayo and Roy scream out more then Rondo, Harris, or Westbrook to me. Rose is up there though.

agreed

iagree with u guys that smal forward is th ebest position in the nba right now but i think in a few years we will be talkin about the point guards. The point position right now is pretty comparable with the small forward in my opinion. at the rate these guys are coming in the league every team is going to have a good point guard on their roster

Wow

I actually think PG is the best position. But I will agree that most teams have good SG/SF.

Small forward is up there

Small forward is up there because it is the easiest position to reload but lately point guard could grab that spot. There were a lot of talented point guard taken this year and will be John Wall and others next year. Shooting guard is decent because of Kobe Wade and Roy but if you look at most roster it is one the weakest. Power forward is pretty good because most good team have two good ones. Center is the weakest. I would have it like this sf pf pg sg c. After this coming year pg will be second.

My Ranks

the players are in no order and there are several players that have been left off but those are just a few of my suggestions but i think the SF is the deepest.

2nd-PG - C. Paul, D. Rose, D. Williams, R. Rondo, S. Nash, J. Kidd, B. Davis
3rd- SG- K. Bryant, B. Roy, D. Wade, P. Pierce,
4th- PF- K. Garnett, T. Duncan, A Stoudamire, C. Bosh,
5th -C- M. Yao, S. Oneal, D Howard

To the OP...

Where is KG? I'm not really sure how he is missing. We all know PG's are overrated and not needed to win, so I believe that alone devalues their value as a whole. So total impact needs to be a wing simply becasue they have the ball more than the post. So now we are left with SG & SF. To me this is to easy. Kobe & Wade are two of the top three players in the league. On top of that, you get B Roy to round out the top three. Then you have JJ in the ATL and some youth cooking up in OJ and EG. I could however see the SF position being better in about three years.
