He will have to shoot better

He will have to shoot better and finish at the rim, but he is a hound on D and a ridiculous athlete. I've always liked him, but is he a PG? I dont think so, so I dont see him in the league at his size playing off the ball.

hes a legit point guard and a playmaker, and was a leader for Marquette. i think hes enough of a point guard. i agree he really needs to work on shooting though.

I dont think so. His lack of size and shooting will make his chances almost none.

i agree hes short and not a good shooter. but i think on his defense, and okay point guard skills he could be a decent backup point guard (not a starter).

He's good on D but I dont

He's good on D but I dont think he can sign right away and be a backup

He should go on a NBDL team and play PG for a couple years

i think he could be a steal like Hill, and Chalmers, were last year, of course he could go on a team where he doesnt get much playing team. 9i think if he goes to the right team he could be a steal right away because of his d.

I dont think so, Those guys

I dont think so, Those guys were way better. Overall, for James to get into the NBA, NBDL is the best way to go.

Yea but even before he got

Yea but even before he got hurt...he was not looking like a 1st round pick. So he would have gotten drafted in the 2nd round- Mid at best IMO

its the way it works. a lot of defensive players slip to the second round and become steals, they dont have enough offense to get enough hype to be a first rounder. but because of theit defense, experiance, and heart, can come in and play right away.

He was never a 1st round

He was never a 1st round prospect this year. He might have been after his sophomore year, but even then when he played in the Draft Invitationals he didnt get much love from scouts. And he's too small and too poor a shooter to get to the NBA. And believe me, he doesnt NBA level PG skills

All I've ever heard about

All I've ever heard about the kid is that he's a conceited, narcissistic D-bag... I heard a story that went something to the effect of: he was invited to a party... brought a bunch of his ppl with him, even though it was only supposed to be him invited... they wouldn't let his ppl in... he pulled the DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM? card.... and the kid poured his beer on his head and slammed the door in his face. LMAO

hahahaha i've never been a fan, although he is very athletically gifted, and there is probably a place for him in the NBA, esp with the hand-checking rules. I doubt he'll ever be wildly successful... he's too full of himself. He was lucky enough to play with McNeal, Mathews and Heyward.

He can fly for a 6ft dude

I've been knowing Dominic since like 5th grade and that story doesn't sound like him. I mean, he carries himself with sort of an arrogant swag on the court, but off the court he's one of the most humble/respectful dudes I know. I don't see him playing that card at all. He's never been that kind of dude. I actually just seen him at Champps Restaruant not too long ago. He told me he was supposed to play for the Bucks in summer league, but got injured before the games started.

I think he has NBA quickness, speed and athleticism, but he struggles running a team. Though he has good ball handling and passing skills, he's more of a two guard trapped in a point guard's body. I'm hoping he ends up in the league though. I think in time he could be a very good defensive minded rotation point guard.

just a story i heard from

just a story i heard from someone who went to marquette... and that person was a HUGE marquette basketball fan- just didn't think that he was a great guy. i think this was also his fr. or soph. yr, so maybe he's done a lot of growing up the last couple years? Maybe now that he's not a projected top 10 pick he's more humble?

I donno, I wouldn't waste my time making up a story though, lol.
