With videos like this why isn't he talked about more?
everybody in the nba can dunk..... and people do talk about him all the time
Everybody in the league can dunk, BUT not like that! He def. has some bunnies.
Holy Stuff, some crazy jams right there , i will say this his potential is unlimited, not only because of his crazy hops but he has a beautiful jumper, he is quick and he has good handle
He certainly has an nba body & athletic ability. He shoots a pretty high field goal % too. The thing I don't like about him is he plays against super weak competition. His team is awful. If George is so good then he better lead Fresno St. to a lot more wins this year. He didn't even lead his terrible team in scoring.
I agree with both Mike and Gator
Mike- I think this man has "Kobe-Like" Potential. His game is amazing and he has everything down pact now.
Gator- I also believe he should lead his team in scoring and I think he could help this team get 6-9 more wins and I wanna see the "It" game from him as well
yeah he should lead the team to atleast 5 more wins next year, but he also has a different mentality than the Rudy Gay's(changing) and the Josh Smith's of the NBA he has a killer instinct in his game also
Dude is overrated and ALL hype.....
Dude is overrated and ALL hype.....
He had a decent season at Fresno State and now people are saying he is "Kobe-like" (How??? in what way???) which doesnt make sense becasue he will never be on the level of Kobe.... Yeah the guy can jump and his shot is decent but I dont think his game will translate into the NBA like most people think.... In the age of internet and media when a player (in this case paul George) shows a glimpse of potential he gets over analyzed and people start to develop unreasonable expectations for him...I have been played with people who can dunk just like him but does that make them "Kobe-like" players???? Somebody mentioned he had an NBA body, so when did 6'7 185 pound become and NBA body??? He has no real play making abilities and he average 14 ppg and 6 rebs for a very averge Fresno State team in a weak confrence... Yeah dude has SOME ability and he has a nice skill set but some people are going WAY over board with this guy....
He has kobe like potential cuz of his crazy combo of size, skill, and athleticism. I can't wait to watch him play this year.
Its natural in this day and age for D1 shooting gaurds to be around 6'5-6'7 with so called "crazy" skill and athletcism.....
Then more videos of D1 players doing dunks as good and easily as these. His athleticism and body control are actually very kobe/t-mac like.
but the key would be for him to add Kobe's knowledge of the game
Im sure he's great but I can name 30 better dunkers...
I'm 6'9", she's 5'3"
Yes man haha.
I watched you play in person last season @Vandy. Good Luck this season
Ahhhh, Vandy. Smh, I'm going to give them damage next year. The Austrailian dude is a rock lol!
I'll be at the Georgia @ Vandy game again this year... u better put on a show ha. Vandy is tough to beat at home.
G-Watching his games last year your right he should have led his team in scoring but when the coach runs pretty much no plays for you you gotta be impressed with the stats. He does need to develop strength and other aspects of his game but he does have the dangerous p word
C- and when I say no body talks about him I mean nationally, Luke Babbitt was in the same conference and got a lot of hype and was called one of the top freshmen yet George is ranked higher than him on the mock draft.
Goooooo Georgia Bulldogs! lol....I'll be at alot of yall games, good luck sir
welcome to the site.
good luck this year.
Ok lets get something straight, if you think PG is about to take over the NBA from Kobe, then yes he is overrated. But I don't think anyone really expects that. Aside from that dunk he had against St. Marys which was like the second game of the season, you didn't hear much about him, unless your team is in the WAC.
He has a really nice skill set and the length and athleticism the NBA scouts crave. But last year he struggled the last portion of the season, so he needs to avoid that this year. NBA teams are willing to take a chance on a skinny kid, especially when he's only 19.
But believe it or not, I'm part of the minority that thinks Fresno State could really turn some heads this year. Last year they had something like 8 losses by like five points or less. They have a lot to prove on the court, but they have the athleticism equal to or even better some of the teams in the major conferences.
Mychal Ladd is as good of a dunker I've seen at the college level and some say he might even be more athletic than PG. Looks like he has a pretty impressive open gym dunk collection too.
