ny is place of point guard we always taking about the next one in ny so in order to put us back on the map we need that point guard and bayless has flashes of greatness at times and in dantoni system he can excell remember he was one of the top guards when he came out and okc was going to pick him with the 3rd pick
The Knicks need to lay low, try and get Sessions or Tinsley to sign for a cheap contract, and don't overpay for Lee or do a S&T for Boozer just for the sake of doing it.
They have been clearing cap for next summer for a long time, they can't jeopardize that otherwise they are saying all the talk for saving up for 2010 didn't amount to anything. I know things are looking bleaker for 2010 but they are the one team that can't back down from it as they have being selling their fans on it for 2 years now.
