Sebastian Telfair: Potential?

Does sebastian telfair still have potential? look at his numbers in april of last year:
G GS MIN FG% 3P% FT% OFF DEF REB APG SPG
In April: 7 2 32.3 .511 .458 1.000 0.6 1.6 2.1 5.4 1.1

BPG PPG
0.3 16.4

i heard he has matured a lot. what do u think, could that last month be a sign of things to come?

There

There were 7 games in April. If this was for a few more months, then it might mean something. he has some potential, and can be a good backup player. If his shooting% stays anywhere near where it is in these stats, then he should be fine. That was always his problem, his heightand shooting.

At best he could end up being another Rafer Alston

When he came into the league I thought he'd come around a lot quicker, but as the year's passed I don't think he's going to be anything special other than a back up/fill in starter.

Clippers, I understand your

Clippers, I understand your a Clipper fan, but have you ever posted something that had nothing to do with the clippers? I mean, theres 29 other teams...

&To answer your question, almost every 24 year old still has potential, regardless of what happened to them before

Needs to learn

When to look to score and when to set up his teamates. I think he showed some improvment last year. Back up who still has room to get a lot better. I'm pulling for him, I think the talent is there.

Never thought much of him

I personally never thought much of him i think he is a product of the NY city PG hype they love to hype their pg's out there. Me personally I dont like small point guards especially one's that dont hit open jump shots consistently.

I don't know how well he

I don't know how well he will grow with the clippers but he still has some potential to be a top backup in this league right now he is just a typical back up. Who knows if he can get a consistent J He could be like Aaron Brooks but with better passing.

Telfair

If (I dont see it happening now) Telfair gets a better jumper, he will be one of the best backups in the NBA. He isnt a good defender because he's small, he isnt a great scorer and he doesnt do a good job hitting open shots so he isnt a starter caliber player. He is a good change of pace guard though, unless he makes some drastic improvement in his shooting.

I don't think he has much

I don't think he has much more potential. He's proved that he can't shoot. Look at the bright side, before he entered the NBA he signed a 5-year 15 mil shoe endorsement deal! Did the shoe ever come out? lol! I though Jamal Thomas (who once led the Big East in scoring) would have taught his little brother better. Oh well.

Dhamp...the greatest mind in basketball. Next to Hubie Brown anyway.

I would hope his maturity

I would hope his maturity has improved. He's been in the league for 5 years. I don't see him ever being more than a backup pg. His production over the course of his career has not really improved.
