Joel Embiid

  1. Milwaukee | Joel Embiid | 7-0 | 250 | C | Kansas | 20

Noel and Embiid are not a match made in heaven, but they will work well enough. Embiid's potential to develop dynamic post moves will help. I just think a core of Carter-Williams-Embiid-Noel is solid.
Jabari Parker

  2. *Philadelphia | Jabari Parker | 6-8 | 235 | SF | Duke | 19

Although Jabari Parker has matched his potential already, he's still in the top 3 prospects. If he improves he will be scary. He is versatile enough to play with Sanders, Henson, and Giannis, or all three, which will create some interesting matchups.
Andrew Wiggins

  3. Orlando | Andrew Wiggins | 6-8 | 200 | SF | Kansas | 19

I just wouldn't draft him. I don't like his passive attitude. Wiggins is BPA. Fills a need at SG/SF.
Julius Randle

  4. Utah | Julius Randle | 6-9 | 250 | PF | Kentucky | 19

Philly takes the bait on Randle. Everytime I watch Randle I get impressed. To me he is a mature player. I don't think his ceiling is as high but you don't won't to miss fire and get someone who will bust... A stout wing defender is what Utah needs. Maybe they swap Favors and this pick with the Lakers and pick up Wiggins. Or, Smart because he falls because of his bad attitude.
Dante Exum

  5. Boston | Dante Exum | 6-6 | 188 | PG/SG | Australia | 18

Exum has already maxed his potential. NBA Comparison: Xavier Henry
Marcus Smart

  6. *LA Lakers | Marcus Smart | 6-4 | 220 | PG | Oklahoma State | 20

Smart battles his way back to a top 3 pick. I love his fire. He may never mature completely, but has Rondo or Westbrook? What he brings is invaluable. Orlando has a quantity of good young prospects but none have superstar potential. IMO defense inside the paint is Orlando's biggest need. But smart can be the primary ball handler and a nice sidekick to Victor Oladipo. Orlando has proved to draft smart. Orlando has a stout defensive backcourt.
Aaron Gordon

  7. Sacramento | Aaron Gordon | 6-8 | 220 | PF | Arizona | 18

The kings might decide between Gordon and vonleh.
Kyle Anderson

  8. *Detroit | Kyle Anderson | 6-9 | 230 | SF | UCLA | 20

The Lakers will give Anderson a good look.
